Beautiful tranquil location that allows cars to drive right up. Unobstructed view of Mount Fuji. A real hidden gem

A lot of tourists come here to take picture. A very good spot to take picture with both Mount Fuji and the Yamanaka Lake. There are several buildings around the lake and also a 7-Eleven, so I feel completely safe and sound.

Came here to escape the tourists at Kawaguchiko and wow. The swans made for such a special and unique view with Fujisan!!!! Some boats were parked on the beach (I'm sure they're available for rent in the summer).

The place is amazing. Worth of 3 hours driving from Tokyo. A lots of places to do camping. Only not visit in the rainy season as you can not see the amazing Fiji.

Amazing views of Mount Fuji. Was very peaceful and barely anyone there. We got lucky with the weather and had no clouds. Great spot to take photos of cars or bikes to. Just a hidden gem. There was few rubbish laying around but not to much. Please take your rubbish back home and keep these beautiful places clean.

One of the best places to enjoy the view of Mount Fuji. With right timing, you can see the diamond Fuji (sun on top of Fuji) but unfortunately I have no luck witnessing that yet.

One of the greatest driving roads and one of the most beautiful views in the world! This place is greatest. I hope this could be my secret spot. Many fewer Chinese tourists and you can totally relax and enjoy seeing the views and swans. The lake is so clean that you can see thru all. You can see Fuji Mountain with no any pences. So far, this is my favorite place in Japan, and please don't throw rocks to swans. (Some chinese were throwing rocks and ices to swans)

This beach (Hirano Hama) is really worth the trouble of finding. The views of Fuji across Lake Yamanaka are as good as you will find anywhere. Highly recommended.

Great view of the lake and Mount Fuji. There are several swans in the lake which after a while will come to you looking for food. Be aware that they will poke at your hands if you don't give them anything. Be sure to carry snacks.

If it is not cloudy or raining, good place to look across the lake to Fuji and then cycle round the lake
