The
cafe
has
outdoor
seating,
as
well
as
the
main
indoor
cafe
space.
It’s
spacious,
and
nicely
laid
out
with
small
shopping
spaces,
a
kiddies’
corner,
an
exhibition
room,
as
well
as
an
attached
bakery.
I
got
the
Slow
Plate
with
a
ginger
ale,
and
the
tofu
ice-cream
with
a
hot
coffee
for
dessert.
The
portions
didn’t
seem
all
that
big,
but
it
was
filling.
The
plate
was
good,
although
nothing
that
made
me
go
wow,
whereas
the
ginger
ale
and
tofu
ice-cream
have
inspired
me
to
look
into
making
my
own.
The
ale
was
refreshing,
spicy
and
not
too
sweet,
a
perfect
summer
drink.
The
tofu
ice-cream
tasted
very
much
like
tofu,
and
had
the
right
amount
of
sweetness.
The
texture
was
interesting,
crumbly
and
pebbling
when
cold,
but
melts
into
something
smooth
and
creamy.
The
best
part
of
the
whole
meal,
however,
was
the
Coffee
of
the
Day.
I
might
stop
by
for
just
coffee
and
dessert
next
time.
The
food
menu
is
limited,
but
the
quality
of
each
dish
shows.
And
it’s
nice
that
they
cater
for
both
meat-eaters
and
vegans.
My
meal
cost
3000yen,
which
to
me,
is
a
little
pricey
for
a
lunch
with
these
portion
sizes.
I
enjoyed
my
meal
there,
though,
and
the
staff
were
friendly
and
attentive.
Points
that
I
hope
the
cafe
will
improve
on
are:
-
The
music,
the
volume
made
conversation
a
little
difficult,
to
the
point
where
we
had
to
repeat
ourselves
and
make
an
effort
to
speak
louder
than
usual.
-
The
aircon/ventilation,
the
inside
of
the
cafe
is
noticeably
cooler
than
outside,
but
it
did
feel
a
little
stifling,
especially
during
the
meal.
-
The
waiting
system
during
peak
hours
is
not
efficient,
customers
would
put
their
name
on
the
waiting
list,
then
wander
around
shopping
and
looking
at
the
exhibition.
A
waitress
in
turn
would
go
looking
for
them,
when
their
table
was
ready.
A
customer
could
potentially
be
skipped
at
a
busy
time.
