A quiet shrine near the Haneda Airport. Especially helpful to ladies and businessmen, they say. Oh, the shrine’s main place isn’t quiet because you have to ring a bell before you pray to the deity, although that's for all shrines not this one.

It's such a beautiful shrine tucked into a quiet neighborhood so if you're on a quick overnight at haneda or staying nearby I'd recommend checking it out. It's a photogenic place and well kept, but many people are actively using it to pray/worship so I didn't take any photos. It's a quick place to visit too, so don't expect to spend any significant amount of time here.

Love the sacred fox shrine. A good break from surrounding concrete jungle of Tokyo.

It is believed that the red torii in front of a shrine wards off evil spirits, danger, and bad luck. Apart from having a spiritual function, the red color has a preservative function. Red paint is usually made using mercury, which has been used as a preservative for wood since ancient times.

Anamori inari, although not at the original site, the temple was relocated to it’s current location. Quite close to Haneda airport on the outskirts of Tokyo, so relatively quiet. Easily accessible by train.

Historical shrine and temple complex, innumerable torii, and scenic views. Come prepared for a lot of walking and many stairs. We took about an hour to walk through the main route, well worth the time.
