The hotel is located near subway and train stations, about a 5-minute walk. The area is less interesting in the evening and at night, due to many nightclubs; one could even describe it as a "red-light district." Hotel is at a reasonable price for Tokyo. The hotel is new, and I got a room on the 10th floor. The room was small, with a view of the adjacent building where construction was ongoing, so there was noise from the construction early in the morning. The room itself was small, lacking a table and a safe. A tiny refrigerator was placed in the bathroom, along with a kettle, which was in the bathroom too, but there were no cups or tea. Breakfast was good, not too large, but there was a variety to choose from, including curry and soup. However, I think the biggest asset of this hotel is the staff. Very friendly and nice people, especially Nico, always smiling and adept at solving any issues i had during my stay.

A really cool hotel. The lounge area in the entrance of the hotel is trendy and modern, which also applies to the rooms. It's very clean and the staff there are kind and helpful. They offer earbuds at the front desk as apparently it gets louder in the evening due to it being a bar/club. However we didn't hear anything

Rooms are pretty small, but it's a decent value for the price and grade of hotel. The design of this Moxy is catered towards a slightly younger crowd. No upgrades are available for elites as they only offer one type of room. Members get a welcome drink. Sometimes, they give you extra drink tickets and that's something guests greatly appreciate. Service is prompt and thorough. There is a 711 directly across the street, an abundance of food options that work till very late in the evening, and is situated about 10 minutes away from the station. This property is great for tourists and their English proficiency is at a high enough level for international travellers.

I really liked the Moxy hotel. They say it is located near the red light district but I felt perfectly safe. It was a short walk from the Kinshicho train station, so getting anywhere was quite easy. Our room was an average sized room for Japan. We were able to find places for our things. We were there for 4 days and didn't need to unpack things as we would have if staying there for a week or more. Plenty of plugins for charging things. It was clean and quiet. The air conditioner worked fine. The staff was amazing. So helpful and pretty fluent in English. We had plenty of questions as this was our first time in Japan and the staff were always able to give us good answers.

Trendy hotel that attracts all kinds of clients. Hotel is fairly clean and is decorated to be festive and fun. Rooms are quiet, which is surprising in a good way. I think the heating and cooling system could be a little better. The air is so dry in the rooms, and part of the lobby where people can sit and work away from the bar area is very cold - not cozy.

Absolute worst breakfast I’ve had at any Marriott. Bed is comfy, shower is nice. Area is red light district i think and it’s very seedy. The Indian guys that stand around the streets at night always stare and make you feel uncomfortable As titanium member no room upgrades or free breakfast.

Love this place. As of October 2022 it's my go-to lodging spot in Tokyo

Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of October with my family. Located a short walk from Kinshicho station, this hotel is around plenty of shops, restaurants and, transit options. During the day it is fine but at night the area around the hotel can be described akin to a red light district; a little seedy or sketchy at times with the touts on the street. Asides from proximity to the Skytree I would also say the location is a-bit far or inconvenient from the regular tourist areas so it would be idea for solo or younger travellers. This hotel is new with clean and spacious rooms for Tokyo standards, however to go along with the theme there are no permanent furniture in the rooms asides from the beds. The table and chairs were hanging folding ones. The bathroom was spacious though and the water pressure was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Not a lot of perks for Bonvoy members though asides from some free drinks. Overall value was very good.

Moxys are always wonderful to stay at and this one was no exception. The staff was friendly and nice. Rooms were cozy and clean. Breakfast was solid and the lobby was cheery and comfortable. Only downside is the location. It’s a bit far from the main parts of the city and certain nights it got quite loud with the nightlife which is a bit sketchy in that area

Again, the service here is amazing. While the Aloft was great, the atmosphere leaned lightly to the strict side. Here, not so much. They were a tad friendlier here. Overall, the staff is awesome here. They win you over quickly. They speak great English and recommend you chst w them if they're not busy. PROS - Free Brekfast for Platinum members and I liked the breakfast here. They have hot soup, warm rice and rice seasoning ( yum ) plus salads and greens w dressings galore. There are cereals and other items. - There is a gym but ir sucks. It's a free dumbells and 1 treadmill. - There are wshers and dryers, for a cost CONS Not alot of food options for Tourists, unless you can speak/understand Japanese. So, be sure to eat st the property..OR the 7-11 across the street - Rooms are tiny. Designed for 1 person.

I loved my 6 day stay here. As a Titanium member I appreciated the daily $10 food credit and an upgrade to an upper floor room. The location is very convenient - very close to the JR station and a 2 stop from Tokyo. The gym is well equipped and there’s a laundry option. The staff were incredibly friendly. I had left my jacket in the restaurant and it was carefully stashed for me. The food options are decent (there is a veg option). You’ve got to appreciate the house cleaning compared to US Marriotts. The shower is amazing, the bed comfortable, and of course the techy Japanese toilet. Ultimately, this is a good value for the price point. Will certainly consider for a future stay.

Pretty nice hotel, not really recommended for minors as it's pretty obvious what the target audience is... But overall clean rooms, probably would not go in there with a black light though. 😂 Nice staff and foreigner friendly though. Also note: bathrooms have semi transparent windows so you can easily see the silhouette of whatever and whoever is inside.

This hotel was a lot of fun to stay in! According to my husband, who has traveled to Japan several times, the room size was bigger than previous hotels he has stayed in. I thought it was just great. The rooms are very clean and have great toiletries available. The lobby is fun, very colorful! The bar had great drinks and the breakfasts were delicious. I used the gym a handful of times and it was well stocked (elliptical, weights, punching bag, vertical pull-up bars). The staff is SOOO nice. They went above and beyond many times and I am grateful. The location is within 10min walk of 2 subway stations that can get you anywhere. Thank you for a great experience!

This was my first Moxy experience and my first hotel during my Japan trip. If you know what the Moxy brand is, you won’t be disappointed. Small rooms, little to no storage space, bathrooms that are not very private. But they offer affordable rooms for travelers who don’t need extra amenities. The hotel offers coin laundry on site which is nice. Breakfast can be purchased downstairs if needed, but I never found it needed or very good. This moxy’s location is a pro and a con. It is very close to a major transit station with local and JR trains available, which will you need to use every day to get to the tourist areas of the city. But the hotel seems to be in a small red light district with many adult clubs around and shady looking men out on the street corners every night. Single travelers be aware. Overall I enjoyed my stay here during my five days in Tokyo.

Staff and facilities are wonderful! Area is a bit of a bar/boy+girl cafe area, but you will be close to a good train station and Skytree which has a mall. Great place to make your stay in Tokyo and not be constantly around the busier areas known for heavy tourist traffic. Plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and some fast food options.

I’ve stayed here on 3 separate trips to Tokyo, and keep coming back to the incredible bang for buck. A very reasonable price for clean, large-for-Japan rooms, super nice staff, an uber-trendy aesthetic, cool amenities, fast wifi, and lots of food options for breakfast (free) and throughout the day. Marriott loyalty members are also well taken care of with a variety of free food card options from the 24/7 snack bar. Pleasantly surprised with the dinner options too. The Moxy Kinshicho is an excellent choice for more long-term stays and budget-conscious business travel, especially if you need to be in close proximity to the subway. There is a healthy mix of Japanese and Western guests here, and with fun planned guest activities and events downstairs I’ve found that it’s a nice place to meet fellow millennial travellers and Western expats. There are awesome creative spaces with outlets to work downstairs, quiet yet interesting white noise ambience in the lobby, and also nice meeting rooms you can book for conference calls. The neighbourhood is really fun too, and super convenient for food and shop options. Probably the coolest boutique hotel I’ve stayed at in Japan, with the added benefit of being part of Marriott-Bonvoy. I look forward to coming back whenever I get back to Japan next.

Didn't satisfy me because one, the service was not good. The staff took the payment like he was in a hurry just when my friend was about to bring out some coins. Second, I ordered iced latte but espresso wasn't present and almost just foam, and was served almost half of the bottle. Just disappointed

This is probably the best Moxy I’ve been to. They have real elite benefits and the rooms are bigger than they advertise. Check in with elite status recognized, and they quickly shoved me a welcome drink of my choice. By the time I made it to my room, I have two additional beers in my hands. Considering the price, this hotel is superb value. Rooms are comfortable and clean too!

Great hotel with amazing breakfast and bar. Very close to kinshicho station and tokyo skytree. Staff was very friendly, very clean, with an atm and 711 nearby as well as many restaurants/stores. Would highly recommend this place

June 2023: great vibes and love the bar check- in counter. PJs provided in room, hair dryer and toiletries. The extra table and chair was also folded and hung up to save space. V innovative! Down side is the noise from the street which has a vibrant night life.

Staff was really kind and helpful. The rooms were clean yet extremely tiny! The bathrooms are cool and we loved the shower. There’s even a well stocked gym with ellipticals and treadmills. We really appreciated the inexpensive food options; for breakfast We had delicious fish, rice and curry, salad, scrambled eggs, and potatoes. They also had other items like sausage and pancakes. Overall this was a very enjoyable stay. It was safe, clean, and very hospitable.

Rooms are wonderful. The showers are powerful, the beds are comfortable, and the climate controls are very quick. The staff are absolutely amazing and love the young energy of the team. They went above and beyond during our 7 night stay and would go here again. The location is a short walk to the Kinshicho Station. The neighborhood is next to a 7Eleven. However, lots of gentlemen clubs and nights feel a little "shady" walking through the area. However, in general, it's a safe area and we walked nightly back to our hotel without any problems.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were incredibly welcoming. Good proximity to metro and getting around Tokyo. Appreciated the guest laundry available in the basement, as we were on a long trip. Good use of the space, and view of the city. Hotel was fun and quirky. Found the lobby and hotel design to be very youthful and modern. Would stay here again.

Cool, modern hotel with great staff, food, and amenities. The rooms were smartly laid out despite being on the small side. The common area was a fantastic place to take a break or relax in the evenings, enjoy a drink, and chat with friends old and new. I normally don't spend a lot of time on hotel lobbies but I could easily spend an entire evening chilling out here! Location is also convenient, only a 5 minute walk from Kinshicho Station.

The staff here is amazing! Super kind, attentive, and fun to talk to. We had a warm welcome and casual conversation followed by a delicious welcome cocktail. The showers here were glorious, it’s now my new life goal to own this shower in my home. Rooms are a bit small but this is pretty standard here anyways. Beds were cozy. Breakfast was fantastic! There’s tons of little restaurants and a 7/11 just across the streets which is really everything you could need.

This was my first time coming to Tokyo and I started my trip at the moxy, and am ending my trip here as well. The staff and customer service here is amazing!! Everyone is sooo nice and quick to explain everything. Kotone, Nico, Daiki, Mikako, and Juri THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! Im glad we stayed here for all the nights we have!! As far as the hotel! The rooms were clean, the iron room comes in handy, they even have bikes for rent. The hotel is only a 7 minute walk for the train station that will take you anywhere, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Stay here if you can!

New, comfortable, clean hotel. Excellent showers, friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. Very close to Kinshicho JR Station with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. As mentioned by others, there are some “shady adult” businesses in the immediate area, but we never felt unsafe walking back to the hotel in the late evenings. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel with great service and lots of nice touches within the premise. Board games, cocktails, table tennis, foosball, bicycle rental etc. Room is considered big with thoughtful design elements. Note: This hotel is near the red light district so might not be suitable for everyone. However if I need to pick one in this area, I’ll look no further.
