The service was excellent. I didn't get the name of our waiter, but he was really nice and checked on us regularly. My fiance had the shrimp taco and I had the chile verde enchiladas. Both were amazing.

Service was good but the food was terrible. I had the Chile relleno which has always been good in the past, but this was a major disappointment. Normally it would be fresh and moist with either a red or green sauce on it. Today it was precooked and reheated, dry, little to no cheese, and grilled onions and bell peppers instead of the traditional sauce. It had the quality and appeal of a pop tart. I am not looking for a restaurant comp to get me to come back because I have no intention of returning.

Well, I gotta say that what I read on the reviews I was a little sceptical. But this i must say. This place rocked. Its was awesome. Food wasn't cold or lacking cheese or anything of the sort as mentioned in the reviews. Matter of fact it had ALL the right taste and spices you would expect in a sit down restaurant. The wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. Oh and our waitress Megan knocked it out of the park with her service. Thank you for a great time guys. Keep up the great food. 👍👍👍👍👍🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

After trying to eat at another establishment that was too long of a wait, we tried Casa de Lupe after many years. We got a rated right away which was great. I was a bit shell shocked with their prices as they were a bit high. We got our chips and salsa and wow. The salsa looked homemade but was beyond dull in color and had a funky taste to it. Not good at all. We asked if they had something else and the waitress said they had a spicier version...great! Only not great because it was almost identical only now I could tell what it was about the salsa....they not only used celery in it but they went heavy with it. This is also when we noticed the chips were just slightly stale...but we were starving so extra salt helped! I ordered their super burrito with chili verde. It was huge and actually really good. I had their red sauce on top for some reason and they, like some newer places, are trying to make their own and leave big chunks of onion and bell peppers in it...bell peppers in red chili sauce? NO! It was ok but some bites weren't great. But again. The burrito was yummy. My daughter got the shrimp cocktail. It was odd from the start and she tried several bites to see if it was a good or a bad odd....the old rubbery shrimp was the nail in the coffin. When she came back from the restroom we had them exchange the shrimp cocktail to a cheese quesadilla that was very thick with cheese. We wish we just went to a fast food place instead

I used to love this restaurant, but it has recently changed for the worse. The food is now awful. There are a bunch of new waiters and waitresses, and most of them are extremely rude. I’ve lived in Gridley my whole life, and this used to be one of my favorite spots to go, but now I do not want to spend my money here. The waitress acted as if she did not want to do her job and was extremely rude. I spent a good amount of money and I did not tip well. These new waitresses seem to not understand their tip comes from their attitudes. I do not recommend coming here.

Very good! Fresh food. Good prices and service. Mmmm good homemade tortillas. Just one negative..we had 6 people and they tacked on a 15% tip without saying anything. Has we not notices, they would have got double tip. Usually places do that with 8 or more, not 6. Best to be up front about it, let customers know ahead of time.

One of my faves. FOR MY BIRTHDAY, my son treated me to their Two cheese enchiladas, with rice, and beans. We ordered takeout and had this delicious dinner at home! It was very warm when I opened my dinner! And, as always. I loved it!! A bit pricey, but very, very, good food. I would encourage everyone to experience this restaurant. I have ate inside, and can tell you that the service is very cordial, the waitresses are pleasant, and the atmosphere is very nice. And...if you do eat inside. You can watch the little tortilla factory in operation making fresh, hot, excellent tortillas. My mouth is watering! Casa Lupè's fresh salsa and chips are very. Very good as well! This is one place I highly recommend. Try it and you'll see for yourself. L.O.L.

I paid cash for dinner then was accused in front of customers of short changing the restaurant and after the long haired manager made a scene, he then found the $20.00. I have NEVER been so humiliated before, and Casa Lupe wasn't short changed. I've gone to this restaurant since being a kid. Before you accuse anyone of something, you should ensure you have all the facts.

We were served fresh home made tortillas when we got to our table with complementary chips and salsa. The green salsa was good and the red salsa I did not enjoy however my husband liked it. The pork tamales were delicious as was the fajita plate. The kid friendly chicken strips and fries were also good. The price was reasonable and service was great.

Local awesomeness. Great for everyone! Vegan beans and a whole veg section. Huge margaritas and the best service there is!

I have always loved eating here but recently I went here with my family for my mom’s birthday and received horrible service. The waitress was very rude, she was rushing us to order, and she took a long time to bring my dad’s refill on his drink. This was nothing compared to the fact that I told the waitress it was my mom’s birthday so she could bring out the flan that they bring out for everyone’s birthday but she never brought it out. I was surprised I have received great service here for years until now.

Food was so good!! Ordered the two items plate a beef taco and the chili rel, . Bloody Mary not as good, very diluted and weak. Usually really good but couldn't finish one that time. Hope next time hope it's better!🤞I would get two if they're made right! Practice please. T Y

Went Saturday night and I had the 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and boiled beans, the beans were good just wish they would mash them up. My partner got a fajita burrito and not sure why only the chicken was in the burrito. Everything else was outside of the burrito on thr plate?

Great business. Family owned and operated since before I was born.(I'm no spring chicken) I've noticed the past few times that I've eaten there with my family that the grandson that looks like he can't be over 10 years old is already helping out. That's awesome to see, he will be the next generation of a family legacy. I highly recommend this restaurant, the food is always hot and fresh, the restaurant is always clean and organized, and the staff is always serving customers with a smile. But the thing I think I enjoy the most is the homemade fresh FLOUR TORTILLAS! Who doesn't love those? Stop by and give them a try, you'll be glad you did.

Went during a busy lunch rush. Still they were very quick to seat us only 5 min wait for a table of 4. The hand made flour tortillas are very good! Service was excellent & the food as well

Their food is so good, margaritas to die for! Fresh Tortillas made while you watch. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We had a table with window onto the lawn; chickens grazing on the grass and sweet little chicks with moms. Stop here for sure if Jonsing for mexican food and want to be satisfied.

We had lunch and did notice that prices have gone up. $19.95 for 2 grilled chicken tacos with rice and beans. They also seem to have changed the guacamole recipe as tasted out of commercial product and very thin. The tacos also didn't have a lot of chicken. Still serving a good lunch soup and hot tortilla.

The food didn't mean expectations. It lack the authentic flavor. They sever chips and salsa along with a soup, which was good.

From the salsas to the entrees, the food here is pretty good, not great. Great service. Good tequila selection. Very spacious, and lots of TVs.

I love the food here. Tacos are my favorite and Chile reanos are my wife's. The rice and beans are the best. Same for the chips and salsa.

Found hair in 2 of our plates and the manager was very rude. Will never go back there. They used to have really great food but not anymore

The staff was very nice and friendly. We had shrimp tacos and shrimp enchiladas both dishes were delicious. Will definitely come back

I did not try the food or drink so take my review as you will. I came in alone and despite the place being mostly empty I was sat at the back across from the bathroom. After 10 minutes without service; no water, no menu, no chips or salsa, I left. Why bother with a place who can't acknowledge your existence when mostly empty and so many other options in the area? My advice is head down the road. I truly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere at another Mexican place less than a mile away....

We come here all the time. It's usually terrific, but the past 3 times not so much. Something is off, maybe the kitchen staff or a different food supply company. It's just not the same and it's really disappointing. I usually only write good reviews but I like this place so much I want them to get their act together. Please figure out what has changed and fix it. The enchilada sauce is not the same The food was cold (all 3 of us) The meat did not taste as fresh.
