One of the more depressing Walmarts Update 6/30/2022: The place seems to be getting rundown. Items are broken and not repaired. AC seemed to be off with triple digit heat, employees and customers were sweating. Stocking occurs during the day making it difficult to navigate the aisles or find what you need. Grocery side is a joke due to being out of stock on many items. Update 10/12/19 - good luck finding the items you want at this Walmart. Uploaded pics of shelving out of stock for pain relief medicine. Past post - Store is out of stock a lot. Checkout times are long. Worse than the typical Walmart. The store is most likely out of stock of the item you want. The Linda Walmart does not have the out of stock issue line this one does.

The store is large enough to carry a variety of things. It was very clean and everybody was practicing social distancing while I was there. The bakery section was stuffed with freshly baked goodies. And the produce section was being restocked with new fruits and vegetables. The deli offers freshly prepared items made everyday. They have FACE MASKS on sale.

Friendly staff love the full length self check out. Really love the order and pick up! They do all the shopping, I open my trunk. Or if I want I can have it delivered. However, there is a limit on delivery amounts. But, pick up...spend and buy as much as you want. They always text you and email you with substitutions.

This is a super big walmart and I really like it. You can find everything there! I used to live in another city where the local Walmart was so small and you couldn't find fresh fruits and vegetables, food, etc.

For me I mainly go to the electronics which are near the top right far from the entrance, but overall it's pretty good, the employees are chill, one thing is during the weekend it tends to get pretty crowded. You can self checkout and there's even a McDonald's in the store which is neat, that would be all, overall a good experience

I hate going to Walmart period, but there are times you need to. They have items at SUCH GOOD PRICES!!! They also have a wide range of things you need. You can go there to get stuff to fix, clean, and accessorize your car. They have clothes, groceries, kitchen stuff, stuff for your home, plants. Eat. You name it, they have it. It's not really a good place for fresh produce, or meats. I go elsewhere for those.

Having cashiers is no longer a priority, instead they want you to use self check out or stand in line for 20 min. For the single cashier. Huge disappointment! For some people with disabilities scanning our own is NOT an option when purchasing more than a couple items.

Very unhelpful and this store dies nor operate on wal mart company policy and procedures but they make there on rules foe exchanges. I have not brought back anything without a receipt in almost 2 years until I brought in a gift I had purchased and couldn't find my receipt and they refused to help me at all . According to WalMart policy a gift card with ID should have been sufficient. The item was $99.98. They would not even check my ID to verify I have had NO mon receipt refunds. Very disappointed I called the store several time to talk ti manager and the manager would never come to the phone and never has even returned my call

No sense of Urgency when people are waiting. One lady was waiting for a battery they never told her they were finished. Or car sitting in the bay for 30 minutes before they started working on it. Now as stand here watching no less than 3 guys have looked at the car. Two have checked the tire pressure. Guy are wondering around Aimlessly. Not to mention being rude

Found everything I needed easy enough. Friendly staff and customers. Easy in and out, used self checkout. Machine will ask how many bags you used and they charge you 10 cents per bag. Plenty of parking. Business clean.

Customer service is HORRIBLE. the person at the counter, CLAIMED to be a manager, yet has ZERO customer service or people skill at all. I had bought puppy food (at another walmart) and on my way home I received a message from my sister reminding me that that was one of the brands with a recall!! So naturally I stopped at the first Walmart I could find. And this "manager" informed me that I had to go back to the store I purchased it at, to which I replied, "no that's incorrect" and then even though I had receipt in hand showing I paid debit and cash for my purchases. She told me that she HAD TO give me a store credit, I said no I paid debit and cash so you can give me cash. She flat out REFUSED to give me cash- and I NEEDED puppy food, and every Walmart I stopped at only had that and one other recalled brand on the shelves. I explained this to her and she said again that the computer tells her what to refund and it's saying store credit. I then explained very paitently how finances and debits, and cash work, then I explained to her how HUMAN BEINGS make computers, and humans make the software that is used to operate them and how even the MOST POWERFUL computer companies in the world admit that there could be weak spots on the software or hardware- and as such they hire the world's most well known hackers to attempt to get through the firewalls and hack those computers. Also explaining to her that computers are o ly.able to do what they are commanded to do by the user (aka HER) so with that in mind, she might not want to use that excuse for her refusal to do a refund. She then attempted to argue with me stating that people do not make computers, machines do which are run by computers. I told her that she is very obviously young and also had very young parents. Because people that have been around since before the millenuim, have heard the term "CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT". And while she might not be old enough yo have ever heard it, with her being a "manager" her parents certainly should have. And that I was no longer attempting to do a transaction that is above her ability level, and that I was simply trying to teach her how to work with the public in a mutually respectful manner. If she wants to be respected as a manager she needs to treat customers with respect. Because if she doesn't have customers she won't have her job. She continued to argue with me and I simply walked out. Side note because of her refusing to refund the money spent right theni had to wait 4 days for it to be processed back to my bank before I could get my puppy the food and the puppy pads he very badly needed. Now he's used to getting chicken and rice (human food) which is NOT at all what I had planned on his diet being

You have to be careful the discount and clearance stuff is usually missing items they don't check returned items or open boxes they just mark them down .. might want to check the actual discount isn't the best either and get the price matching from on line to in-store it's not hard they make excuses because they don't know.. completely undertrained staff isn't the staffs fault it's the company that doesn't train properly remember that next time you want to yell at an employee they can't do anything but make sure to get the discount

Money services is ridiculous!! Like with the registers, there is only ever one employee working it with a ridiculously long line. Does management do anything about it?? No they just walk by and don't send additional help. Deserves 0 stars.

Tried to purchase a vacuum cleaner but after asking 4 different employees and 2 store wide pages could not get an employee to unlock the display. Probably won't be shopping there ever again.

Horrible employees working here. I was legit almost ran over with a giant metal pallet a man turned into MY walking lane he was coming from customer service! Then proceeded to have the cart 6 inches from my back as I’m walking. I’m a 96 pound girl and this pallet was taller than me! I was upset and complained to the door greater and he ignored me and said “have a good day”. I went to customer service and they literally did not care. I live in Gridley and I’m telling you now! Please support any Walmart but this one’!! It’s horrible and I visit 4 different ones around me!

This is for WalMart in general, not specifically Yuba City. The return policy posted is not the truth. It states 90 days, that is a lie! I purchased a Halloween item the day before, it didn’t fit. Tried to return the day after as I didn’t have time the day of Halloween. Tried to return to 3 different Walmarts they all refused to return it! Don’t shop at WalMart, they have horrible customer service and don’t stand by their own policies that hang right on the wall!

Maddening chaos. So many different categories of things you want and feel you need, competitive prices, delivery available. Convenient, but yeah, the anxiety inducing in-store shopping experience as well

I found what I needed and checked out quickly. The store was clean and organized 👍

I'm always in the Walmarts around me. I pick up orders at both, shop inside both, depending on the circumstances and what my other errands are that day. I love the option to pick up rather than shop myself. So convenient for a busy day. And I actually save money because I don't get to go through the clearance section! Lol.

Not my favorite place to shop. You can hardly find me there unless it’s an emergency. Every time I go in it’s chaotic. Things thrown around shelves and clothing out of order. The drive up grocery place has several numbers that hardly reach a person ever. You have to stand outside your car and flag someone down. Staff seem like they’d rather be doing anything else but their job. And the door greeters always seem to be going to a funeral after work, in the sense it’s a depressing atmosphere. Thank you, I’ll give you two stars because I’m feeling generous today.

Employees might and helpful. Private optometrist on site. Awesome employees that go up and beyond to help their clients. Awesome eye glass techs for Walmart that go up and beyond as well. Don't see this very often these days. Keep up the great work!

This store gives me anxiety, but the cashier I had, Melissa was amazing. I visited on 05/05 at around 4pm. She was so nice and efficient. Give her a kudos because she was flawless checking me out and I noticed she even switched to Spanish for the couple behind me. Go Melissa!

IF I COULD PUT 0 STARS I WOULD!!! Their pick up service is terrible! I have sat here waiting for over a half an hour waiting for my order!! While I was waiting other people pulled in wayy after me and still got their orders before me! When a worker passed by i told them I've been waiting and NO APOLOGY! I then waited longer and ended up having to go inside and get it myself! Terrible service do not recommend!!

They were completely out of shopping bags! How does that even happen at Walmart they did not even have bags that you could buy to put your groceries in except for the ones that cost $5 and $6 a piece!! Very disappointed. It would have been nice to have been warned that before I did my shopping and paid for my groceries that I was not going to have a bag to put them in when I was done!

  • 1/5 Dorothy C. 1 year ago on Google
Being generous. Door near Harter still locked at 8am.. Employees shopping for pick-up customers will cut you off. Lastly please don't say you have nobody to help me because you're taking inventory. I'm so done! Shoppers should demand better by going somewhere else. I did.

I went to Walmart to get oil and filters for my car. They usually have an electronic aid to get the right filters. It wasn't there! The only list of filters was for motorcycles and ATVs. They have the best prices for oil and filters, but now you have to know what you are looking for...

My favorite walmart , clean and neat. Thank you to the employees that keep the grocery side organized. I will continue to get weekly groceries here. I’m always greeted with smiles by the employees :)

When you need something they likely have it. But if you are disabled in anyway the lines can be unbearably long. Linda's Walmart has better clearance and selection for lower cost items. I only go yo Yuba city if I have to.

Had a flat, in stead of just patching it I decided to buy all 4, when I got there I was taken care of...GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. DONALD, made my Experience very delightful...knew what needed to be done and gave me options. I had the worst day and just being there at TLE (WALMART) relaxed me. Thank you Donald (T.L.E) ps. THANK YOU FOR MY Water
