We ate here twice for the authentic food (tacos with tripe and burritos with tongue alongside the regular beef and chicken dishes) and extensive sauces and pickles. The owner is charming and justly proud of her food, produced in the open kitchen behind her. We will be back.

Talk about hole in the wall, this place has incredible tacos! The salsas are delicious, and SPICY! Both the al pastor and fish tacos were top notch. The seating is limited and neither the host or the cook wore masks which was a bummer, but still, I give this place five stars because I was seriously blown away by the quality and the flavor!

Stopped randomly to support a local business and wow WHAT A GOOD RESULT!!! The food was so good. They also were definitely adhering to covid protocol. Would love to eat there again! I got the taco salaand my friend got the carne asada burrito. They didn't even need salsa but the red was great! I loved the green too but my friend said it was spicy(not for me but k)

The tostada's and the selection of sauces was so impressive! One of those rare finds in a small town, highly recommend stopping by on your way to Joshua tree national park

Brilliant local place, home cooked vibes for great price and all the extras. I try to be vegetarian but my friend’s chicken burrito gave me weak knees

Best, cheap tacos around. Highly recommend the place, cheap tacos and lots of toppings on the side. Owner's friendly and help me figure out what to get. Didn't really like the guac, but that didn't put me off from the place. Will definitely return and highly recommend it.

Great good with great prices. Service is fast and plenty of sauces to choose from for your food. Lady is friendly and super helpful. We had every dish made vegetarian and they did not disappoint us at all. Amazing chef who knows how to make vegetarian dishes, not only with cheese but veggies also! Much better option for dinner if you are visiting Joshua tree.

Easily one of the best burritos I have ever had! California and chicken burritos are so immensely good. Spicy but wildly delicious salsa bar, cannot recommend enough!!

This taco place was great. The food was delicious and affordable. The staff was also very friendly. We had the carnitas tacos and the carne asada tacos. The carnitas was very flavorful, I would highly recommend. The rice, beans were also quite tasty.

We were driving into town and called ahead for a pickup order. We lost our cell service mid call. When we re-entered cell coverage 5 minutes later our phone rang. It was Algoberto's calling us back. What service. Super considerate and nice people. Our food for a party of 6 was ready in about 15 minutes. They even have a nice variety of salsas in a salsa bar. Definitely recommend takeout from this place. The actual restaurant isn't as lovely so the dine in atmosphere may not be as exciting as the great food and workers.

Good food and excellent service! However, my chicken mushroom quesadilla sat in a grease pool 😣

No actual vegan items on the menu, but the refried beans aren't made with lard, and they'll put a veggie burrito together for you. Very tasty. Nice people.

One of our local favorites for takeout. Food is always ready in less than 15 minutes and always delicious. We order the California burrito every time that’s so tasty with their salsa verde.

The tacos were SO good!! I recommend getting them big with the pico and guac. My husband asked them to make him a bean, bacon, and cheese burrito for dinner and they were like, sure! He got two and they were HUGE. Wish we would’ve hit this place up earlier so we could’ve gone more than once!

I bought 2 tacos(large) Carne & Pastor. They were not good at all and it looked like it was the meat that had been sitting on the side for hours on the grill. Never going back. I'm a Negro so it may have played a part. The Waitress was NOT happy to see me or Negroes never go there.

How to get delicious tacos Step 1: Ask for a carne asada taco. Step 2: Ask to make it a big size with pico and guac. Step 3: Eat and repeat.
