I took my dog there as an emergency to be seen because he wasn’t acting himself and he had developed two large masses on his chest. The receptionist Ally was so warm and kind and she helped us get an appointment as quickly as possible, and the vet techs took him and took care of him right away until the Doctor arrived. And Dr. Robinson was so amazing!! From the way she explained everything with complete honesty to me, and the way she took care of and had her techs take care of Richard... I am truly appreciative. They stayed almost 3 hours after closing when his abscess ruptured, just to make sure he was treated and safe to be taken home. I am so grateful to everyone who was there that night!! I apologize, but I do not remember the techs that were helping my dog, or the incredible sweet receptionist who stayed late as well and never seemed irritated or upset with me that they had to work overtime.. just truly wanted to help. I can’t say enough great things about Companion Animal Clinic!! I will always refer them to anyone I know. And you can’t beat their prices, because they are EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE!!! I have never been to a vet clinic that was so affordable, and I’m truly appreciative of that as well! I just love them, and my dog, Richard loves them all too!! 🥰 Attached is a picture of my dog after his treatment that night! 😁

Dr Colburn and Smith are great. The assistants are great. I just wish the atmosphere was great too. When you’re in an exam room you hear any inappropriate, rude or snide comment the staff have to say outside of the room. I have heard their lead tech mutter some things and the receptionists are hit or miss when you arrive. The treatment, when you receive it, is actually fairly quick and decently priced. I wish I could love this place but I can’t get past the lack of professionalism and weird tension in the air when I arrive.

Companion ,is a awsome place very caring an great to our pups ...my female pit was put down due to injuries was totally hard to deal with ... a week later in the mail was card from companion ....made my day ,thanks

Companion truly loves our cats and takes the very best care of them. I know my cats will have the best health and future because of their expertise and care! Dr. Colburn is the best vet ever. She really cares about pets and their human families!

Companion animal clinic has a very caring and competent staff. I have been taking my dogs to companion for over 10 years and they always try to find the best treatment. The procedures can be a bit costly but no more than VCA.

Dont go there unless you have no options... They are unavailable time and again during regular business days and hours. My dog was bitten by a snake, they were open but refused to treat her, causing her to suffer more than necessary before she had to be put down by another vet. Just one of my last three attempts to use them.

The staff and Doctors at Companion have provided the most professional and compassionate care for our furrbabies for almost two decades without fail. The faces may have changed over the years, but the care and compassion has not.

I took my precious little boy Midget to Companion Clinic because it was time. They were wonderful and helped us through the saddest and most difficult things to have to do. Thank you so much everyone!!!

Our girl was bitten by a rattlesnake today, although we never saw it. I called to inquire about antivenin and was told to bring her in immediately. They kept her all day and performed the necessary monitoring and treatment per envenomation protocols. They kept me updated all day of her condition and even stayed over 2 hrs after closing taking care of her. They didn't perform unnecessary treatments or tests and took such good care of our best girl. We're beyond appreciative.

Dr. Colburn is a superb veterinarian, in my opinion. She focuses 100 percent on your pet, analyzes with data but also has a keen intuition as well. The best vet in the desert, if you ask me. Staff is friendly, kind and efficient. Highly recommend.

Dog just seen 24 hrs. Prior. Infected paw. No antibiotics given. Now 2 blisters. Told Allie that this happens a few times a year. Told to make another appt and yes pay again after spending $200. We are seniors on low income. Oh yes I cussed at her.

Absolutely the best vet office near Yucca Vally and Twentynine Palms. Staff is friendly, and as long as it's not an emergency, one can get an appointment within 2 weeks if you're a returning customer. The vet who saw my fur baby was awesome and seemed very knowledgeable and concerned. Would definitely recommend this place when they're accepting new patients.

We saw Dr. Smith on this visit and a very nice vet tech. He took the time to thoroughly check out my dog and do blood work, urine, etc. Great, caring place to take your pets. Hard to get appts at any vet do to Dr. an staff shortages. I recommend this clinic.

This is the BEST animal hospital .the staff are very caring and helpful the doctor is wonderful . Every experience I have had with this business has been very professional and it's good to know there are still pet hospitals that actually care And explain things to you and they also work with you and help to find the best course of action and what they can do to help. The bedside manner or lack thereof is horrific. I brought my dog in for tests and was very specific about NOT doing a recheck and to ONLY do the tests. I told this THREE times on multiple different occasions. They still do the recheck and attempt to charge me for it. I tell the receptionist who goes to check and sure there was a “miscommunication”. Then the VET herself comes out to tell me she has me on recording saying I did want it done I ask when she says they have video and audio recording in the office I say okay well it heard wrong and gave the name of every employee I told NO RECHECK. So finally we get to talking about my dog actual concerns but don’t worry the lovely VET just tossed his leash in my hand and says “I’m very busy”….. so please help me to understand after I’ve paid thousands of dollars to your vet clinic the first miscommunication you call me a liar and provide no communication. You guys ask for compassion as you’re low staffed but you don’t return the favor. I have been coming to this vet for over a year and this is my second bad interaction with this vet but unlucky for me there’s no where else to take my dog. I understand it is a hard job in hard times but I am a person and you all are in very delicate positions so imagine my surprise when I’m treated with such disrespect? It’s unacceptable and I won’t be returning. If the lights go out it won’t be because you are understaffed it will be because you ran every patient off with your horrible customer service that you try to pass off as “doing your best”

The Doctor is very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. The tech was very nice. The front staff were all nice too. I had a very short wait time in a pleasant waiting room. And most importantly, they took great care of my cat, George.

The most behavior savvy, proactive treatment, and communicative clinic in a several hour radius. My animals LOVE the staff so do I and my family. It's always immaculate and the staff are amazing. The vets are A+++! I adore this clinic and I highly recomend.

My chiwheenie was 17 years old and when his days became more miserable than good, I had to make a hard choice of either letting him suffer until his last breath or send him to Heaven. He would have panic attacks from not being able to breathe time to time. It was heartbreaking as the bond I had with Spike was close enough to know that even he was ready. The Companion Animal clinic was very patient and compassionate. They handled the euthanasia appointment with heartfelt understanding, not just displayed condolences but in a way that was deeply comforting. For this I’m grateful.

Always take really great care of our dogs. Dr. Colburn helped us get our Callaway back on track and we cant wait for our re-check so she can see his progress. With the help of Dr.Robinson and Dr.Colburn we have our little ones allergies finally handled and we are so grateful. The staff here are wonderful, the vets are top notch. Its really hard to find this level of care. Bonus they are a fear free certified practice so they take the time to help your pet feel comfy.

It really bothers me the amount of money, not just that I have spent there but my daughter as well, just to have them attempt to strong arm me with not rescheduling my fur babies appointment until I paid it over the phone but especially while giving me a smart add attitude, into paying a ridiculous no show fee for a no show follow up appointment but I don’t ever remember getting paid by them the two times they had to call and reschedule on me. All for a free anyways, follow up appointment I just spaced and still wanted to show up for seeing as how I only live two streets over but they denied. Although I love the doctors looks like we will go elsewhere because thats just not right. First time I have ever missed an appointment there.

The worst veterinarian center I've ever encountered. They refused to accept any previous veterinarian work done on my pet. They wanted to delete all vaccination work and start over. They acted rude and arrogant to all my inquiries. Why would any humane veterinarian want to add more unnecessary medical treatment? AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
