They are trying to run a scam. I took my teenage daughter there to get her nails done and paid for her services on my credit card that I signed the receipt for before I left. When I came back to pick my daughter up, she had told me on the way home that they brought her that same receipt, had crossed out the amount, wrote in a new amount and insisted she sign it. It's my credit card and they had her sign her name. She is 15 years old and can not legally be held to any contract, and that was illegal for them to change the price after I had signed for it. I am heading up there now to get the difference as after calling them they told me to come get it. However I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs in our town, because the authorities need to know about their shady business practices. We will never go there again, but I would love for everybody to stop going to Star Nails so they will get shut down because they are clearly trying to scam people and charge credit cards more money after the fact which is illegal. They are not friendly and act mad whenever you deny extra services. They need to be forced out of business.

Came in two hours before close and were the only people in the salon. Each of the three of us got the same thing (gel manicure) but only one of us got lotion/hand massage. Jobs were VERY rushed and ended up peeling off after about a little over a week. As we left staff walked out too (despite being an hour before close) and pretended to kick us out of the door! Obviously they didn’t think we could see them. I will NEVER be back and would advise others to not waste their money there. If I could give zero stars I would.

I came in for the dipped nails and I love the colors they have to choose from and all that, but they are sloppy. There are bubbles, curves and other irregularities in my nails. I showed the tech and she ignored my concerns and continued to do other things to my nails that make the skinflint around my nails super dry. I was the only person in the salon and it gradually filled up with lots of pedicures and I feel like she rushed to get me out to do that instead of giving me decent service. I now need a fill and I'm definitely not going to this place ever again.

I went to this place before covid, thought I would now try it again. I was the only customer there. She hurried through everything, was extremely rough, dipped my nails only twice, never talked, no arm massage and then charged $45. Within a week polish was cracking and chipping off and my nails themselves are breaking off.

I went for a simple gel manicure and the lady was rushing for whatever reason. I didn't really feel welcomed. She didnt seem to really care and wouldnt let the gel coats cure fully before adding another coat on. She also didnt even actually do much of the manicure part (making the cuticles look nice, and all that), making my nails even, barely massaged my hands and arms afterwards. Also, when she did the top coat she got it all over my fingers and didnt make sure to really clean it off before having me cure it, so i had some clear gel cured onto some of my fingers until it peeled off about a day or two later. It's definitely not worth $35 and a tip if you ask me. I wouldn't recommend this salon.

After being a loyal customer for more than two and half years I have to say I am sorely disappointed. I went in and had a full acrylic set done. The lady was running out of polish and added some thinner to the bottle to make it go further. She had me hold my hands in front of a heated fan to dry and I sat there for nearly 20 minutes trying to give it plenty of time. It was late and I had to get home to my toddler and husband. I left being extremely careful not to smudge them. Fast forward an hour later and it's still not dry. I did everything I could to just hold my hands up and give them as much time as possible. When I woke up the next morning they were all ruined and the Polish was still not completely dry. I went back explaining that it never dried, showed them it was still easily moving and was blamed for not giving it enough time. They drimmeled them back down quite a bit and just repainted them a different color. Just 3 days later 2 of nails snapped off. I was just gonna try and repair them at home and not bother when yet another snapped right down the middle. I can only assume when they were drimmeled they went to thin because in all the years I've been getting acrylics I've never had anything like that happen. I went back, asked for or the owner. She said yes they would fix it and asked if I could wait a few minutes. After sitting there for about 10 minutes the lady that did my nails in the first place approaches me and says that the owner says it will be at least 10 to fix the three that broke. I said she just said she could fix them, she isn't willing to fix the mistake to keep a loyal customer? She replied that's what she told me that it would be at least 10. Not only did they waste a lot of my time but they treated me like crap after going in there for over two and a half years. Not to mention that the main male employee has always been in a grumpy mood when I've gone in and I've ignored it as well as there obsession to be on there phones all the time. Go across the way to their competition Beverly Hills Nails. They fixed my nails after hearing what happened. Did a beautiful job and they have wine!

Walk-ins are welcome! We went because the place we were going to go was closed due to Presidents Day. This has a Vandament Ave. but it's actually located in a strip mall just north of the Super Walmart on Garth Brooks. No other customers were in there when we arrived so there was no wait. We were taken to the massage chairs to soak our feet first. They massaged our legs cut, clipped, filed and painted our toes with cute decorations, it was so relaxing. Then we went over to a salon chair to do the gel nails, and offered us some bottles water. I got jewels and decor on each nail. They massaged our arms and hands. I couldn't understand her too much, and most of the time the 3 staff members were talking to each other. It took me paying attention to know when she was actually talking to me. After all our nails were done, we went into another room to lay down on table to get our brows waxed. We were there for about an hour, I loved the selection of colors and it was clean and organized. The employees were extremely nice and all smiles. Everything we got costed us about $200.00 for 2 people. The man at the front desk gave us a stamp card. For 5 stamps-$10.00 off, 8 stamps-$15.00 off. There are also gift cards available. They said the nails will last 2-4 weeks. I like to check out new places, but this place did pretty well.

Worse nail salon I’ve ever been. They had hardly any colors to choose from the lady said my nails were to short for coffin shape when it wasn’t. They didn’t have chrome The salon was dirty. Other then that they were super nice did and a okay job. Plus the most expensive nail salon every paid 45 dollars for gel and fake tip. When I pay everywhere else 35 dollars. Disappointed.
