My partner and I were very lucky to do a private session with Ben (we were the only ones who purchased the morning session) who was extremely professional in his approach and overall just a nice guy. With limited kayaking experience, he was able to get us up and running in 5 minutes with clear and concise instructions. He was very knowledgable about the area and Switzerland in general and provided great recommendations. He also took many photos of us and clearly you can see that he's done this a million times over from the great shot attached. Thank you Ben and the Hightide Kayak School!

It was a great experience, we did the 3 hour tour and we initially thought three hours will be so long but it felt like a blink! We had Chris as our tour guide and he was super fun, professional and he took really cool pictures of us. Would definitely recommend this experience

I enjoyed the Kayak course very much and learned a lot. I have been participating in a two days beginner course for kayaking on the lake. The Guide was realy nice and patient and explained everything in details. Also I liked that he did not just tell us what is the best from the start but always gave us options to test ourselfs and decide what actually works best. The gear we got was of good quality. Also the max of 6 people ensured the guide had time for everyone. There is also posibility to have lunch there which was also good quality (vegie or meat burgers, wraps fish and chips etc.) The scenery around the lake of Brienz is also very nice and Interlaken with a lot of other fun adventure activities is close. Would come again and recomend it a lot

I had a fantastic time on the Hightide Kayak School tour with Sofia as our guide. She is friendly, professional and shares interesting points along the way. She accommodates for everyone including those who didn't want to swim or those who needed a break from kayaking - I did not find it too strenuous but it is a good work out for your arms. We were blessed with amazing weather and got to enjoy two beautiful swims in the lake during the tour. Everything for the tour was organised very well; getting our gear (life vests, kayaks and paddles), having lockers to put away our personal belongings, snacks during the breaks, and the pack-up was super easy including somewhere to have a shower and get changed. We were also allowed to use the pool at the venue afterwards, or hop back in the lake if we wanted. On top of all this, the photos taken on the day were uploaded within hours which is amazing when you're trying to share real-time updates with family and friends. I would definitely book this again.

Kayaking tour with Peter @ Hightide was definitely the highlight of our time at Interlaken - so much so that we did it twice. As absolute beginners and with our 13 year old son we were quite apprehensive - however we felt entirely safe under Peter's care and had a brilliant time. Totally recommend Hightide - enjoyment all the way.

My boyfriend and I did the Winter Kayak tour in February and it was honestly the best thing we’ve ever done. Chris and Dave were so friendly and accommodating! They were full of knowledge of the sport and of Interlaken. They told us tips for things to do on our stay. They took lots of pictures of us which they shared at the end of the tour. They took us to a view point which was beautiful and gave us some nice hot tea. The views were honestly breathtaking. It was so calm on the lake and easy to pick up kayaking. We will definitely be coming back in summer to do it again and swim in the beautiful lake😍

We had an incredible Winter Kayaking Experience on 4/28/2022 with Chris and Ryan. The tour started with us gearing up with dry suits and our kayaks. Then we jumped in our kayaks and enjoyed the beauty of Interlaken with the great company of our guides! We got to explore a castle nearby and paddle around the lake for about 1.5 hours. They also took some awesome photos of us that we were emailed at the end of our tour. Some of the most fun we had in Interlaken and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys natural beauty.

Stumbled upon this kayaking outfit while looking for interesting things to do in Interlaken, and what a happy accident - I thoroughly enjoyed Sean’s enthusiastic tour of Lake Brienze and the stopover at Ringgenburg. The tour was masterfully thought out, with dry suits protecting from the cold, and a lovely autumnal blast of ice cold rain to boot. Would definitely recommend if you have some experience (or even no experience) kayaking and would enjoy a special day out on the glacial water!

This was one of the best places my brother and I visited in Interlaken! We went on a 3 hour kayak tour in the summer and it was AMAZING! Our guide, Ryan, was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable on the tour. This was a great excursion for both experienced and inexperienced kayakers. Our group was a mix of both and as an experienced kayaker this allowed me the flexibility to explore a bit more as the beginners were learning. Aside from the kayak tour, this is a great place to swim, relax, and grab a bite to eat. We spent an entire afternoon there and it was one of the best parts of our trip.

The best experience in Interlaken! It was my first kayaking trip and I enjoyed it a lot. I was super exited about all organisation process and our great instructor who explain all necessary things for the safe kayaking. Photo and videos were sent immediately and these memories are really nice 🚣‍♀️🥰

Amazing! 10/10 would recommend. We went at like 5.30pm on a uncertain weather day as it was quite rainy. However our guide Sofia was really nice and friendly, managed our expectations with regular updates on the weather whether we're going to proceed or you can opt to refund. We ended up proceeding as the rain cloud was passing. But it was all worth it because it was so nice with the sun almost setting. It was also very quiet (just 5 people) across the whole lake brienz. So quiet and serene, didnt really felt like we were kayaking for 2/3hours. I was a first timer but our guide professionally taught us and trusted us when on water. It was quite tough at the start but as you go on, youll get the right grip, speed and know how to go about. Might be scary but you gotta trust yourself too! Phones are not encouraged which I agree cause youll be paddling most of the time. The guide will help you take pictures and videos! Theyll provide you with some wet/dry suits and extra layer if you need. and theres also an option to swim in the lake. Id suggest to do it! cause when else are you able to swim in a lake in swiss 😂 definitely a good first time experience for me and i loved it 😬

Kayaking in Lake Brienz is a beautiful experience. The calmness, the emerald water, the views…just picture perfect. And with Hightide Kayak School, it becomes fun too. Very professional and friendly guides who keep the team engaged and also can vary the activity little bit depending on what customers want. If they want more fun in water, they have games. If you want more kayaking, then they will go for that too. Overall great experience. You will not go wrong if you go with Hightide for your kayaking tour in Interlaken, which btw is highly recommended activity in itself 😊

Love love loved every minute of it!! We had Sean as our instructor from the beginning he was very welcoming and nice :) the equipment and gear you use it perfect and very good quality! The group we had yesterday was very nice and overall an amazing experience the sun was out the water crystal clear I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone I’ll definitely be back one day! I enjoyed the winter tour so much I ended up doing it twice. I was lucky enough to have Andres both times. Knowledgeable and friendly with a great dose of humour, he's the best guide you could wish for. The views also are second to none. I highly recommend doing this when in Interlaken or the surrounding area.

Kayaking in Lake Brienz with the Hightide Kayak School was the highlight of our trip to Switzerland. Our guide Chris was very friendly, professional, and made our experience very safe and enjoyable. He also took amazing photos of us and taught us a lot about the lake and about kayaking. Would highly recommend this experience if you're in the area, but be ready for a proper upper-body workout! I would also recommend hanging out after kayaking on the rooftop and enjoying the views and the nice music.
