The atmosphere was good, but the burger was just ok, nothing to write home about. What was awesome though was the yogurt sauce and the wings. It's a good place if you are out for a quick bite.

It is an absolutely lovely bar HOWEVER, they always force you to an extra tip. This is an extremely unprofessional behavior. Instead of actually delivering a good service for which one would give a tip they want to hide the tip and are extremely unfriendly if you ask them about it. Especially one german waiter tried to do it multiple times.

Hello! The restaurant is very cute and cozy. The drinks are amazing as well. The Service, atrocious!!! We got served with an attitude and the whole evening, the waitress made mean comments about us. Just in general very VERY rude service. As said the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but i would’t recommend because of the service. We also got rushed out of the Restaurant 20 minutes before closing. The waitress bringing our drinks, even asked if we can finish in 10 minutes, as they were closing “soon” (30 minutes till closing time, but oh well). Again wouldn’t recommend cause the servers are RUDE!!!

Loved it! I had a great evening with friends. A lot of sitting area inside and under umbrellas on the atmospheric patio. Refreshing lemonades paired with the tastiest burger I had in Zurich. All hosts were friendly, engaged and served food and drink quickly. I recommend this spot for locals and tourists alike. Also it's dog friendly <3 Thanks!

Very nice dinner I had with my wife and my parents. The onion rings are very good and the spareribs are amazing.

When we ordered 1 pitcher they brought us 2 and made us pay for it, this happened to 2 times, they also brought us drinks which they made us pay for. They then ended the night by making us pay tip to the server who started slamming the table at us for saying that we’re not paying any tip. Don’t go here unless you want to pay for something you never ordered.

I went to Aussie on a road trip for 4 months a couple of years ago and this restaurant remembered me this good moment. The food is nice, exactly like there. The ambiance is fun and friendly and the decoration is spot on. The only "downside" is that the restaurant is quite full, but I guess it's because it is good ;)

Great place, the food was great. Everything tasted so delicious. Definitely worth a visit. Also, if you are feeling adventurous you can try the kangaroo and crocodile meat.

Very nice inside. Spacious. No need for reservation. Foods are ok. Can be a bit expensive. Not recommend their iceberg salad

As an Australian I was super disappointed with the service here. We went upstairs to the cocktail bar and the waiter was looking for 100 reasons why he couldn’t serve us. There were many seats outside but he didn’t want to offer this. In the end we sat outside but service was average because it’s difficult to admit a mistake. Unfortunately.

Look, it's a relatively simple place with bar food. However, it has multiple advantages vs other bars in Zurich: - beer selection - the Hobgoblin ale on tap is very welcome - the chicken wings are an absolute highlight. I think the other food is OK, but chicken wings are some of the best in town. - nice atmosphere inside with an unexpected amount of space. Hence 5 stars, for being a very solid option every time for beer+food.

If you like BBQ food especially ribs then you are in the correct place here. The food was excellent, I had the ribs and the meat just slid off the bone. Really good quality. I also tried the spicy hot wings. They were also excellent, not too hot but tasty got. You could feel the almost Tabasco type spice but it was not overpowering and had a enjoyable taste. Service was great and the interior was relaxing.

"Outback Platter" was great to get a taste of kangaroo, crocodile plus some classics with a twist, like cola glazed spare-ribs. My favourite was the roasted vegies, onion rings, chutney sauce and home made chips that came with this platter. Great Aussie desert menu too including pavlova. Extremely friendly and fabulous decor. Thanks a lot for a great treat.

What an amazing place to hangout and grab a drink or meal. Overall great atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff and very tasty food and selection of beverages. Will certainly come back during my next visit to Zurich

Perfect place for a good and tasty food. The restaurant have as specific Australian food and drink. The location place is near the city center, close to the Zürich Lake. It is very easy to get there. The place have outdoor tables situated in a yard between buildings. The nice part is that, no matter what you order, you get it in no longer than 5 minures. That's admirable if you consider the food diversity which is served here. The personnel is very kind and interested in how you feel and if you like the food.

Such a great place, with super attentive staff. Always the first choice for drinks and good food with my friend group!

Ayce is very good, my boyfriend ate chicken ayce and i got the spare ribs. The sauce of both dishes was superb and the whole food experience was price-worthy. The water is 6 fr per cup tho, which is expensive for zurich even... and watch out for parking, you will have to park in a parkhaus nearby, which are all very pricey! Would defo recommend:) Oh yeah and if you don't want the fries with the buffalo wings ayce you can tell the staff, so that you don't waste the fries

Totally different to everything in Zurich. More casual. Humour in the menu. And even some good Australian beers. Have a Coopers ( a family beer from before microbreweries made beer good again). Not cheap. But this is Zurich!

Been here yesterday with 8 friends, we shared a meal. I feel like the plate to share is delicious but overpriced based on the amount of food. We had to order another plate which was charged. Value for money is not well-balanced in my opinion.

Most is deep fried and everything is overpriced. The Menü absolutely uninspired and boring. Not my cup of tea. But lot of people must like this, since it is always full.

Great service, fast and super pleasant staff! Good job to the evening shift. Open until 23om on Sun, and serves very satisfying food. Their fries are a must, and they have a great selection of beer. Loved the decoration too, and great evening playlist for an Aussie vibe :)

Great place to grab a beer with friends, but good food as well. The food is tasty and even exotic if you want (crocodile, kangaroo, zebra, etc.) They have home made ice tea, if alcohol is not your thing. Rock music, very energic place, but not loud or disturbing. I love the pictures on the walls, the wildlife traffic signs (watch out for kangaroos/ koalas / crocodiles) There are also mimics of aboriginal cave art on the walls, which give a 'down under' vibe.

Gorgeous Australian pub in Zurich

Went there a few times over the years. The exotic food is good, the atmosphere and ambiance has a fantastic feel. Last time i went on a monday. That's the "all you can eat: Chicken wings" day. they have 3 different kinds of heat for the chicken. standard, medium and hot. For me the one with the best flavour and mouthfeel was the medium one. It wasn't soggy from too much hotsauce, still got crunch on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. FYI: They got an awesome bar aswell! different kinds of craft beers and so on. Most definitely worth to check out and try all sorts of things!

Fun place! Staff is great :) The crocodile meat is real and tastes great!! ThTs why we came there haha It’s a little dark, outside there is a fire pit! It’s awesome! Have fun and enjoy butbyea ... 70 bucks for water and 1.5 dishes haha It yea Zürich!

Shockingly Poor Service at Outback Restaurant, Zurich Stadelhofen I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Outback Restaurant at Zurich Stadelhofen was so egregiously bad that I feel compelled to warn others. Having heard of the Outback's cozy ambiance and expecting a friendly Australian hospitality, my visit was instead marred by an encounter with the boss, whose attitude was nothing short of hostile. On a day when the weather invited outdoor dining, we were grudgingly told we could sit outside. Yet, that was the end of the hospitality, as we were left unattended for an excruciating half-hour, without so much as an acknowledgment or a menu. It seemed our patronage was an inconvenience rather than a valued business. The clear disdain for customer service was palpable and confounding. One goes to a restaurant to enjoy not just the food but the service and experience, all of which were absent during our visit. We left feeling disrespected and undervalued, with a tainted view of what should have been a pleasant outing. To the management: your guests' satisfaction should be a priority, not an afterthought. It is a disservice to the Outback name and the hospitality industry at large. Future patrons be advised: you may expect the Australian Outback's rugged beauty but prepare for a service desert at this establishment.
