Many specialty grocery stores exist, but this is your best option if you're into tea, coffee, dried fruits, or chocolates! The store is roughly divided in half. Facing the building, the right half is dedicated mostly to tea and dried goods with a few other items thrown in. The left half sells specialty chocolate bars and coffee. If you're from the states you'll find those chocolate bars and other items surprisingly cheap. It's worth browsing just to see and smell the selection of this classic shopping choice. Staff is helpful and does speak English.

Stumbled upon this place during a walk through the old town, and so glad I did. Just glorious; an old-style store with beautiful displays and a wonderful selection of spices, teas, and other specialty items. Beautifully appointed store, too, with some old style furnishings and decorations. I wanted to stand and take 100 photos but tried not to get in the way :)

The location is very good and very charming place. They have very fresh coffee beans. Especially Swiss Muesli is very recommandable. The places r very tiny but if you go a bit earlier for lunch, don’t worry. There is a place for you.( Year 2020) —— January, 2021 they open for elegant hot chocolate. Super good quality. I tried bio dark hot chocolate(around chf 10) for a drink. It was very light and high quality organic chocolate. Very kind staffs. Very helpful to ask. Good place to drop by and buy chocolate

Had a “Heisse schokolade Intenso” and “Caffè freddo” in the shop. The chocolate drink is really amazing. Highly recommended. (:

Love love this place. Delicious teas and hit chocolates, and I'm reliably informed the matches latte is very good too. Lovely staff and excellent cakes. The only drawback is how busy and popular it is, and how few seats there are. But very much worth a visit if you can secure a coveted seat!

For over 100 years, the Schwarzenbach specialty store has been selling delicious coffee, tea and chocolate. If you want to experience some of Zurich’s history while enjoying the pleasure of tea and coffee in the heart of the Old Town, this is the perfect place. The small yet inviting TeeCafé Schwarzenbach is a peaceful oasis with a wide variety of tea and coffee flavors offered, along with cakes and baked goods prepared fresh daily in the café’s own bakery. "a delightful specialty grocery store that’s been operating here for more than 100 years." Lots of very very awesome dried fruit and other fruits and sauces. Love this place. Loved the chocolate selection. Tons of vegan and lactose free options, including vegan hot chocolate! The dried fruit was very well-done, but I think I'm not crazy about dried fruit actually and would rather eat not dried fruit. Wish I lived here so I could try more of the sauces 😍

Incredible specialty coffee and tea house. You can enjoy a freshly made beverage with a variety of choice in terms of coffee beans, tea and brewing method. Additionally, they have an incredible store on the side with traditional decoration where plenty of coffee, tea and other delicacies are for sale.

Just incredible choice of very special foods we did not even know existed. Wonderful smell of spices, coffee, chocolate, dried berries etc. Not particularly friendly personnel, but the experience was really special. Hot chocolate we tried in the bar was just delicious.

Exquisite collection of premium, grand cru chocolate from a very select array of the world’s chocolate-makers, some of them among the hardest to find anywhere. Five-star service from the friendly, excellently knowledgeable ladies.

Vintage style store with a big variety of coffee and tea. The smell of coffe invites to buy everything at once. We focused this time on tea. All the sorts we bought are very delicious and of very good quality. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. We will for sure come back.

30.10.2018: excellent place to have a coffee break, they also have tasty homemade raspberry cheesecake which is the perfect match with their signature blend “Swiss Style Wiener Mischung”, the staffs here are very nice to suggest different blend to me when my preferred “Jamaica Blue Mountain Grade 1” is out of stock, i would definitely recommend this place and come back again :)

Discovered it purely by accident. Very nice shop that smells of good coffee and feels like it could well be in Diagon Alley. They have an amazing chocolate selection with many good 100% single-origin bars, possibly the best selection I’ve found yet in Switzerland including online.
