I experienced my first Zuma Dubai brunch and I wish to go back every Saturday for the rest of my days. We went for the premium package (worth every penny) which included unlimited champagne and sake and let me tell you something, the drinks did not stop flowing for 3 hours! The food was outstanding and in copious amounts. Each dish was just perfectly executed. I will definitely be back for brunch as soon as I can.

Came here twice during our visit. Hands down, one of the best restaurants in Dubai. We liked each and everything we ordered. Absolutely amazing service. Cocktails were made really well too. Not going too specific on the dishes, as everything we ordered were spectacular! 10/10 would go again!

Always on point! I’ve been here many times, both for business lunches which is a really good deal if you don’t want to fork out for the a La Carte. But also the A La Carte is worth it for a treat here and there. The Wagu Steak and Black Cod are fantastic.

Hospitality : 5/5 Staff : 4/5 Location : 4/5 Ambience: 5/5 Food : 3/5 Value for money : 3/5 Zuma is known to be a high end place and fancy. Ambience is nice, but it doesn't really have a nice view. Foods were slow. There was a very long pause for our appetizers to come. So, the waiter told us the endamame will be complementary, but ended up charging us on the bill. When we asked why endamame was charged since the other waiter said it would be complimentary, she replied "You shoud be happy." Not sure what it was supposed to mean. I will give a benefit of a doubt that English is not her first language and she tried to mean something good, but came out wrong. Food is good, but not amazing. You can tell the ingredients are good. But, my god the portion of everything is way too small. We were a group of 7 and ordered 2 or more appetizers each. Shrimp tempura came like shrimp popcorns, not as a whole and were so little.(probably less than 3 shrimps.). All maki rolls came 6 pieces, but those 6 pieces are smaller than regular 4 pieces. After the main course, I was still hungry. The soy beef was good but came as it is, nothing on the sides. Me and my husband paid 1300+ and came home hungry. Might be ok for an occasion, but not looking forward to dining there again any time soon.

A great place to hangout with an exceptional service. Food is good but not extra ordinary. The desert which was a pecan icecream sundae was the highlight amd a must try. Would definitely go back to try the other stuffs from the menu. The cost is to the higher side though. But the ambience and the socialising atmosphere along with the food makes up for it.

This place is always booked out and it's top end. But it's not got the prettiest views and the food is good but not excellent. I think the menu is an accuired taste. Got a variety of dishes the black cod and steak was the best the rest mediocre.

Set lunch - Zuma Dubai is smart and buzzing. For a "global brand" restaurant it was a refreshingly constructive and cheerful experience. Hope to have opportunity to visit in the evening for a blow-out meal!

I had my birthday dinner with my sister in ZUMA and it was a blast. ❤️ The staff is very kind and serving. They accommodated very politely and served well. The service was amazing and food was delicious, atmosphere/ambience is amazing and packed. The location is good , free valet parking is available.

I went for their famous Saturday brunch, the vibe of the restaurant, musics and the tasting menu is brilliant. We came a little early so they served refreshing welcome drink while waiting. None of the food they served is below expectations, it has nice presentation and simply melting in the mouth. Definitely one of the best modern Japanese restaurant in Dubai that one should not missed. Reservations is needed in advance as the table are all fully packed. We tried their ala carte menu the other day for dinner and their Wagyu beef bbq in sesame and soya sauce is to die for! Brilliant!

The experience of watching the skilled chefs prepare the dishes right in front of me was truly captivating. The spicy edamame had the perfect balance of heat and flavor, making it a great appetizer. As for the seafood sushi and sashimi, the freshness and quality of the ingredients were great. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that showcased the artistry and precision of Japanese cuisine. After 11:30 PM, it transforms into a lively club atmosphere. If you enjoy a vibrant nightlife and the combination of sushi and dancing, this transition could be a great fit for you. However, if you prefer a more intimate dining experience, it's advisable to visit earlier in the evening when it's less crowded and maintains its focus on the culinary aspect.

Had our favored Miso Black Cod and Wagyu Beef and salmon tartare. Also our favorite crab salad and shrimp tempura - I have to highlight that Mr. Arthur the floor manager was such an amazing host to us and made sure we had such a wonderful experience, much appreciation to his kindness.

The best restaurant in Dubai. I don’t understand people complaining for 2hrs sitting. It was like this years. 2hrs is more than enough to eat your dinner and taste different dishes. It’s a busy place, many people want to try their food. Quality of the food is the best! Cocktails are amazing. Staff is professional and very helpful. Good sushi! I was surprised with sweet potato ice-cream! Must try! The best chocolate fondant in Dubai!

Amazing food. Beautiful place. Need to reserve a table before you get here. There’s a lift inside to help you reach the bottom floor. Recommending the sauce that comes with the tempura ! It’s something else. The one dish that had my taste buds tingling at the end was the mocha bamboo dessert ! I do recommend it. The rest of dishes clicked are also good

The waiters are very rude and service very amateur. The only good staff are in the main entrance welcome team and security and valet services are very good. Inside is a fake balloon. Money for value is real bad experience. Simple example: the food comes but cutlery not comes, asked for soy sauce, the sauce came but the plate to put the sauce not comes, have to ask 2 times for cutlery, finally called the manager he solved a simple cutlery, he was polite but I am sorry this place not gives any confidence in the upstairs bar area. Barman was also cool to be fair. I will give them another chance in future let's see. Maybe they had a bad day today but Zuma should have done much better after seeing Istanbul super service

You meantion the name Zuma, and everyone instantly recognizes it. The place is a very well-known Japanese restaurant with multiple branches in the Middle East. The place is beautifully designed, two floors, upper floor is better for food and drinks where there's the bar and the nice vibes. The music was really good , it goes really well with the class of this place. The food was excellent in taste and presentation, gives out the feeling that you're selling a liver to pay for it, and many people say it's expensive, but it's not as bad as they say, we were 4 people ordered 2 rounds of multiple shushi, maki and pasta platters with drinks and it cost us 280 dirhams each. The service was impeccable and the staff are very friendly. Great place to spend your weekend evening at, just make sure you book a table way prior to the date and also, been told that you can only hold your table for like two hours, in our case we stayed an extra hour there. Highly recommended 👌

It is always good to have a nice fish at Zuma. Two of my favorites are the famous Cod and Seabass. The food tastes great and service is fantastic. The staff at reception is really friendly and they try to accommodate you as much as possible. I like sitting on the first floor as it has comfortable couches and view is great.

Worst experience ever. We came me and my mom and my sister a Thursday night, which is the weekend in Dubai and supposed to be the best night of the week, we got there at 10:30 pm which is quite late, and we see huge tables of families with kids aged 4-9 years old crying and playing around tables? LIKE WOW! Were we so shocked that kids were allowed specially that Zuma London forbids kids after 9 pm. The prices are just ridiculous and the vibe is so off and upsetting. There is NO culinary experience whatsoever and service was slow. We were 3 and paid roughly 709$ for WHAT? For nothing, we came back to our hotel and ordered room service. Such a disappointment and a stain to the Zuma restaurant. Go to other asian restaurants and don’t waste your time and money.

Superb - I cannot fault the food. I used to eat here every week but then they replaced my favourite chocolate mock-potted plant dessert with a lesser non-alcoholic version so that was a shame. I stopped eating here because I didn't really appreciate not being given a table simply because I was a solo diner, even when the restaurant was empty. Instead I had to sit at the sushi counter. So whilst I really do love the food and can highly commend it, I will not return to Zuma neither in Dubai nor in London (nor to any restaurants under the brand name).

We went to this restaurant for lunch. The ambience was great and the staff was very friendly as well - my clumsy self dropped a glass of passion fruit/apple/pineapple mojito all over my the chair I was sitting on, and the waitress was so nice about it (too much, I think). The food was quite good. The best dishes, according to me, were the teriyaki sweet potato, grilled corn, miso cod, and of course, the cod/prawn gyoza - it was just delicious! For dessert I ordered their “special chocolate”. It was actually chocolate lava cake served with a dollop of (was it vanilla?) icecream. Inside it, there was what seemed to be melted caramel and chocolate sauce. It was quite delicious. Moreover, the presentation and plating was immaculate. The view from the restaurant, however, was quite abominable; from the window at which we were sitting, one could see some sort of open car park/road area. For a restaurant of such acclaim, one would at least expect to see a few palm trees or an attractive cityscape, if not a harbor or quayside (which would be fitting in this situation, since Zuma serves an abundance of seafood). Furthermore, the bill was quite a bit much relative to the amount of dishes we ordered and the serving sizes of the food - however, that’s expected with any luxury restaurant in Dubai. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, and I would recommend for you to visit the place. I would count this restaurant as one of the best Japanese restaurants in Dubai.

The food and the ambience of this restaurant is really nice. An excellent place to have your business lunch. The quality of the food is excellent. The service is quick and the staff are really well trained. Taste: My vegetarian food taste really good. People who have big appetite may find the quantity of food a bit less but otherwise it's a great experience. Outstanding: the desert are just amazing they are superb. We had the pecan, sweet potato ice cream and guys this is one of the best desert that I had in recent times. All the best!

This should be your go to for Japanese cuisine in Dubai. Access to a quick and exquisite business lunch during the day or party vibes in the evening. Miso marinated cod and sesame spicy beef highly recommended as mains! They also def have the freshest sashimi in Dubai. And make sure to stick around for dessert.

We were visiting as a big group for a celebration and overall I am satisfied with my experience. The ambience at Zuma is amazing, dim lights with some music and a live view of the chefs making the food. I also appreciated the bar being in a different location from the dinning area, which is great at separating the different forms of settings and customers. The staff were friendly and very helpful. For starters we went with the edamame, miso soup, crab soup, crispy fried squid and tiger prawn tempura. The crab soup was slightly fishy so I would recommend the miso soup. My favorites were the crispy fried squid and the tempura, great for sharing. As for the sashimi, we chose the salmon, tuna, scallops and squid. For the rolls we went for California, sake maki, spicy salmon and spicy hamachi. All of which were great. In addition we were served an extra plate of crispy California rolls which was a nice gesture. For the mains, the spicy beef tenderloin was well seasoned and cooked to our liking. While the beef skewers were tender, with a slight sweetness. I would recommend both to be cooked medium. The grilled octopus was presented nicely, but had a slight chewiness. It was ok, but could be improved. I have been served better grilled octopus in Japanese fusion restaurants in Dubai. The oyster mushroom with butter wafu sauce had a beefy texture with some sourness. Great for non-meat eaters. For drinks I enjoyed the boutoko. It has a refreshing fruity and candy-ish flavor. Finally for desserts I would recommend the special chocolate with vanilla ice-cream for chocolate lovers. The exotic fruit platter with tropical sorbet was beautifully presented with two scoops of sorbet on the top and a variety of fresh fruit. However I would’ve loved seeing more sorbet flavors on the platter in comparison to the fruits. Thank you for having us.

Excellent all round, except drinking water stupidity Food is great, but as usual you have to buy water at 35 Dhs a bottle. BUT - the only water you can buy is brought to you all the way from Norway. Utter stupidity Expensive - welcome to Dubai!

Honestly, zuma is not the same! food doesn't taste the same. The staff had attitude unnecessary comments, and the cutlery was practically thrown on the table or placed very far from who it was intended for. We were all in shock. It's totally out of the fine dining game and just expensive dining. I'm very disappointed, I must say!

Been waiting for our reservation for brunch for 4 weeks. Then on the last week of waiting we’ve received 4 calls to confirm our reservation, which is ridiculously annoying. In the end we had an ok brunch, not mind blowing sadly. Also cocktails are not included in any of the brunch packages, which is very unusual and not acceptable. So yeah, we were not impressed.

I've been a champion of Zuma for a while and decided to take my boyfriend who was visiting for the first time in Dubai for the best culinary experience. The food no doubt was good and I was aware of the portion size, but what was appalling this time was the kind of service metted out leading to an unpleasant experience overall. We entered at 8.30pm on time for our 2 hour reservation window. By 9.15pm we were presented with the desert menu. The speed of the service to get things in and out felt like we were in the middle of a piranha attack. The constant interference to either ask for the next course or take away our glasses made our dinner quite daunting. I had not even got to the bottom of my wine glass and the waiter came asking again for our desert order even after asking them to give us some time to digest and enjoy the appetisers and mains we were made to eat in 45 mins. The constant buzzing of the waiters to our table did not even allow for a conversation. The food was good, but for the cost and time of the meal spent, can't say I will champion the place anymore. Definitely a downer.

Zuma is Zuma, its incomparable, they never drop the ball. Its my first time in Dubai and when i asked my friend for his recommendation, not a second thought, he said Zuma. Its quite pricey but tell you guys its worth it. i started with the tataki and its just slides like i needed another order of it. Followed by the dynamite roll. Every plate is a work of art. Cant wait to be back in Dubai and have my rolls again. Service is excellent too.

I was having a rush meeting at the time, and just 10 minutes Before the restaurant opens. But the restaurant staff try to help us to get the bar sitting for us can have the short meeting also the same time we can order what we wanted. After all, all the dishes are so fresh and tasty. Very happy for everything. Will recommend to all of my friends.

The food is really good, but you should not have lunch or just have a bit of it before eat there, cause you can't take away the rest of your food. We order Signature Daikoku (omakase but big portion), and the portion is big compare to omakase we ate before, we couldn't finish the delicious steak and prawn and few of the desserts, and we couldn't take the rest home....😭😭 The miso cod in leave is so good, melted in your mouth, I also like the small portions after the miso soup (don't know the name), the chocolate dessert and the salad....the salad is so fresh, more fresh then the one we bought from supermarket, like they just pluck it out from their own garden. I'm not into vege and I ate them. The spinach remind me of gado-gado, I guess cause it have peanuts taste. Overall the taste of the food is very good, so fresh and fill your tummy it'll explode 😆 So we sure will be back.

(Translated by Google) My friend and I ordered the discovery menu called "classico". We had the joy of discovering for the first zuma with an assortment of cold starters, hot starters, a sushi platter (much much much too good !!), hot dishes (meat + fish) and deserts! !! Honestly, everything was really good. I don't necessarily like everything, but it must be said that the mixture of flavors is done to perfection. Note also that the service was perfect (which is rare, especially when you are young). The waitress looked after us from start to finish. She was particularly careful to remove foods that we didn't like from the dishes and at each end of the assortment took care to check if we liked it. The restaurant manager took the trouble to come and see us at the start of the meal to apologize because we had the table at 9:30 p.m. and we did not have it until 9:40 p.m. She also came to see us at the end of the meal to make sure everything was going well. Honestly, this is one of the best Japanese I've done and I'll be going back with my eyes closed even though it's not cheap! However, I would not use the Classico menu which is very good when you do not know the menu (everything was very good, I repeat) but which was, for my friend and myself, too generous.

Too hyped a place. N for the price they charge the food ain't so much to talk off. Taste wise mediocre. The ambience is good. Staff is helpful. But not worth going second time . For first timers...go only if u eat raw fish (sushi etc..)n meats done rare. The sorbets were good n cream n chocolate pie served as desserts.

  • 5/5 Elijah R. 3 years ago on Google
First class service and food. Every starter and main course dish faultless and above the competition (nobu, hakkasan etc.) Staff always running around to top up your drink and clear plates - attentive without being overbearing. Only criticism is that the desserts don’t quite live up to the same standard as the other food - but you’ll be so full that there isn’t much room left at this stage.

Zuma is constantly good. The food is of great quality and they have a diverse Japanese menu. The sushi itself is superb. Try out the different cocktails, they have a spicy passion fruit one which is delish! I personally like sitting in the lounge upstairs closer to the windows because it feels more cozy and personal. The service is also solid.

We were lucky to get a table at Zuma to celebrate ours son's birthday. It was hands down, the best brunch for food quality, selection, presentation, service, and value (and we've been wowed by many a brunch). Our server, Milos, was phenomenal and made the experience even better. The pacing was perfect and our glass was never empty. There wasn't one dish that we didn't enjoy, everything was a highlight. In fact, we're still raving about it to anyone that will listen. We can't wait to go back!

Worst place I ever visited in the world considering price quality. Just upselling and zero explanation about dishes. I even felt at a certain moment like a French duck which needed to grow aggressively his liver by stuffing all the food down it’s throat without enjoying the taste as the next course is being pushed down your neck. Won’t come back and definitely don’t recommend it.

The Perfect Lunch! During our stay in Dubai, Zuma was our best Japanese experience by far. Perfect portion sizes, high quality fish and meat (sashimi and Wagyu steak) in a business setting. Not a cosy restaurant per se but clean and modern nonetheless. And then de desserts came. Absolutely blown away, especially by the fine quality of their chocolate. The pricing is correct with regards to what you receive. Due to unexpected circumstances, we ended up at Nobu the night before, so we were able to compare both restaurants. Our conclusion: Better than Nobu! Thank you!

2 people: 1200AED. The male host that took us to our table made me feel very uncomfortable with his extremely personal questions. The food was good but not up to par to other Zuma locations, it just didn't taste as fresh as it could. Dining area is very very crowded, the tables are seated very close to others and it's difficult to have a private conversation. It makes moving around and going to the restroom very difficult as you have to navigate through the tables, other guests and waiters through very narrow spaces. The overall decor is quite old.

Absolutely amazing bar! We went in close to opening and had a great time chatting with the bartenders. They have an amazing staff and on top of this, the drinks are fantastic. Was a great experience overall - from the welcoming team assisting us to our table to the floor team attending to our selections and providing recommendations, had a lovely evening. Outstanding ambiance, quite dimmed, music not too loud to hear each-other. Our selections were neatly presented all done all on point - would have wished a bit of more kick flavor on side sauces though.

Amazing decor, really amazing vibe too. Was fully booked and the restaurant was packed quite tight. Overall the food was good, i tried quite a variety as you can see but it wasn’t exceptional as I expected from zuma. I guess the vibe makes up for it, its a trendy place to dine at. My thinking is that at this volume of food served, there is no way to make sure that every dish is served perfectly as I would have liked.

This place has the most hyped atmosphere for dinner, the welcoming is wow, the ambiance, the music, the view, the service, the friendly waiters, and the food is magnificent. And definitely worth it. Highly recommended dishes are the butter lobster, the lamb chops, and the entire dessert menu literally their dessert menu is phenomenal.

Zuma Dubai proved underwhelming—overhyped, overpriced, and sushi that failed to impress; we've had better delivered at home. Basic, dated furniture, and small portions for the hefty price. Tried various dishes like spicy edamame, fried tofu salad, rock shrimp tempura, sake maki, dynamite spider maki, spicy tuna maki, and ebi maki. On a positive note, cocktails (Norisan and Hachiko) were excellent, and the service stood out.
