Visited this park few days ago for a morning walk. It is a nice place, but seems like there is not enough shade provided, so it would be nicer to go there in the winter months. Pity that whoever designed the landscape didn’t provide more trees, it seems very bare and exposed to the sun, but skate park is nice and colorful concrete blocks are great background for the photos.

So a walk for Autism tagged #wewalk took place here at the block in Dubai design district on March 8. I was one of the volunteers and was posted to the balloons section. It was fun giving out balloons to kids and adults alike. It was also fun leading a team of 8 volunteers to handle this section. It was a colourful event, filled with loads of games for kids and amazing wins from sponsors like Emirate Airlines, Adnic, Dans, Cannon and so much more. Also some supporting brands included Pocari Sweat and Subway who provided us with breakfast. It was altogether an amazing event. There was the massive support from the Dubai police force, with nice mascots and lovely parade. It was simply beautiful and I am glad I got to be a part of it. All thanks to TECOM group who was the major organiser.

The Block is located at Dubai Design District. Timings: 7am to 10pm It's a friendly space where you and your family / friends can play, relax and unwind. It features a Skate park, basketball and volleyball courts, climbing walls, table tennis etc. And it's a waterfront spot as well.

I found this place is not suitable for kids under 10 at least. There is a small playground available. Personally I find this place looking a bit sad. Basketball court and wall climbing area is good. View is also nice. There some better places available around the same area, e.g. Harbour creek.

The Block is located in the Dubai Design District. It is a well maintained park beside Dubai Creek with a fantastic view of the water and Dubai skyline. My son attended a birthday of his classmate here and they had lots of fun.

Great new hangout in Dubai. Lots of free parking (for now). The playground was a hit with my 1,5 YO. The skatepark was really awesome, looked like a lot of fun. Great to see these free parks around Dubai. Some of the bouldering walls were quite high up and the surface wasn't really soft enough to just down from that height. Definately not the last time we visit The Block! Should be a welcome addition to attract people to D3 and the high end eateries and cafes there.

Nice and silent place. Note: Traffic Signals has sensors here. So if you stop at red signal then kindly stop your vehicle close to the stopping line for the sensors to detect your vehicle and the singal to turn green. Or else you will be waiting at red signal for ages🤣 Not many people are aware of this place, It was quite lonely as we can’t find anyone visiting this place expect the employees who work at the food outlet.

My favorite park in dubai. Burj khalifa view. Kids can skate, bike or play basketball. There s also a newly opened café. For young children, on the other side of teh skatepakr, there s a sandpit and playarea
