We ordered the tomahawk, and it was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The quality of the meat really came through. One thing to note: sauces are charged separately, which wasn’t mentioned upfront. It’s a minor detail, but good to be aware of. The owners were very friendly and helpful, especially in translating the menu and making sure we felt at home. The personal touch in the service added a lot to the experience. Overall, a warm and satisfying meal in a relaxed setting. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving a proper steak.

I have such mixed feelings about Manzo Meat Restaurant, located in a village near Brussels 🤔. The food was good 🍽️, but honestly, not worth the price 💸. The service wasn’t unfriendly, but it certainly wasn’t helpful either 😕. Given the price, it almost felt a bit disrespectful 🤨. We were seated quite fast 🪑, but it was no surprise since the place was almost empty—only two other tables were in use 🏠. I asked the waitress for details about the different meats, but it seemed like I was speaking a foreign language 🗣️. All she could say was that they were clearly very different meats 🥩. Well, yes… that’s why I was asking 🤦‍♂️. I requested a well-done steak, and she proceeded to explain how I “didn’t understand the meat” and how it couldn’t be done that way 🙄. Her answers were short and snappy, and it was clear she was losing her temper 🍽️. She didn’t bother to ask about the side dish preferences, instead choosing fries 🍟 for one and fried potato purée for the other 🥔. The service was quick, and the portions were well-presented 🎨. However, the salad was more for decoration than anything else 🥗—just one small leaf with a random dressing. It felt like they just added it for the photo op 📸. I guess fresh produce is hard to come by in Belgium 🇧🇪? The steak was an expensive cut, which they did show me 🥩, but honestly, it didn’t taste any better than a cheap cut that’s been properly prepared before grilling 🔥. It wasn’t bad, just not extraordinary for what they charged. So, if I had to sum it up, the best word would be: underwhelming 😑. I give this place 2 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐. It was fine, but nothing special for the price.

Manzo meat geeft weinig meat voor veel geld. Dat is wel een probleem als je een vleesrestaurant bent. Smaak van het vlees is geweldig al was 1 van de 3 filet pur's zeer pezig. Maar klein waren ze alledrie. Bediening is ook niet bepaald hartelijk. Zeer weinig sla en frieten/kroketten en je mag ook niet bijvragen. Saus is ook nog eens 4,5 euro erbij voor een zeer klein potje. Broodjes zijn ook miniscuul en je krijgt er weinig. Dat geeft toch allemaal een beetje een wrang gevoel op het eind van de avond wanneer de rekening komt.

Went for a bit of a splash out so took some of the more expensive items. There are some great options on the menu but the steaks we had were very good and were accompanied by excellent sauces. We shared a starter and dessert, nice bottle of wine and great steak. Well worth a visit.

We went for lunch with a party of 7. The shrimp croquettes were excellent, with a nice bisque-like taste. The meat was perfect both in taste and how it was cooked. We had various cuts/origins and everyone was delighted. The service in particular was really great - friendly, attentive and efficient. This was my second time and I'm looking forward to the next. Happy holidays Manzo team, and keep it up, you absolutely rock !

Very bad experience. The waiter smokes constantly, treats customers poorly, and spits at the entrance all the time. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I will never go in again — and I never will.

Amazing taste bud experience! We ordered set menu, only 32.5. Each of them - truffle croquettes de fromage, carpaccio de boeuf, tagliata de boeuf, dessert - are delicious. Already recommended Manzo to my friends in Belgium.

This restaurant is a great find! The staff are really friendly, and the food is excellent. We had the carpaccio, cheese and truffle croquettes, steak, and spare ribs – all of it was delicious, especially the steak. I highly recommend this place!

We had lunch here and chose the set menu. The waitress was kind and friendly. She spoke to us in English after we attempted some atrocious Dutch. The set lunch menu during the week is very good and a great price. The cheese croquettes with truffle as the starter were my highlight 😊
