Had family order food to go for me while they dined in and their experience was terrible but mine wasn’t much better. $20 for butter “chicken” with literally 4-5 SMALL pieces of chicken, all sauce and rice. These scammers need to be put out of business. Picture included shows just how many pieces of chicken I got.

I've been going to Toast - Indian & Asian Fusion for the past 8 months, since I moved to Tahoe and I can honestly say this place is wonderful! Everyone that works there are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet and the food is incredible, every time. This place should be packed and will be once everyone tries it. You'll keep coming back like I have, firstly to talk to the wonderful people there and secondly to enjoy wonderful food and drink. Do yourselves a favor and go as soon as you can and as often as you can and you'll feel and taste what I do. Thank you Toast for being my favorite place to hang out in Tahoe! See you again soon!

Based on some of the previous reviews, I was hesitant, but Toast turned out to be an excellent choice for a nice quit dinner out, while still maintaining its cool sports bar vibe. They have a variety of food, different cuisine and drinks on the menu - there's something for everyone to choose from, including vegan choices. Our Calamari rings were crisp and delicious, the Chicken and Bean Enchiladas were cheesy and yummy. The service was excellent and our waiter was fantastic and attentive, though the food took a while to come out, we had been warned in advance, with consistent checks on our table, and we liked the attention! My overall experience was excellent - a delicious complimentary treat provided on the house by the host upon hearing about my Wife's birthday made the experience overwhelmingly awesome! Will recommend to anyone!

Had a wonderful, delicious meal that came out quickly with complimentary red wine for me on Mother’s Day, which was a nice touch. The person who served us was so kind, attentive, and patient with our little one. Our baby loved the dahl tadka with rice!

Our party of 9 found this hidden gem via Google and we can state this as one of the Best Restaurants to have food in South Lake Tahoe on the California Nevada border. The Indian dish preparations were mind blowing, full of flavors, some even better than I tasted back in India. We ordered a couple of appetizers that came out piping hot, and were flavorful. For the main course we had Paneer Butter Masala, Shrimp Coconut Curry & Naan, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I definitely recommend this joint!

This was one of the most amazing experiences of our Honey Moon. They were very accommodating to what the spicy would be as my wife is not a lover of spicy. Hands down some of the best Indie food I have ever had. They also surprised is with a celebratory dessert.

Toast has a charming atmosphere (especially the outdoor patio), friendly service and excellent food. It has a fantastic between Roundhill Beach and Zephyr Cove Beach (also near Nevada Beach). It is an excellent choice for busy Holiday or Summer weekends as you can still get a table and they even have FREE parking! Toast Tahoe is under new ownership but my favorites remain (the excellent Toast burger and salads!). They have now ADDED authentic and flavorful Indian food. I love the Butter Chicken. You also must try the Naan (either plain, butter or garlic). They have a good beer and wine list too. Bonus: the outdoor patio is even dog friendly! Toast is a go-to destination for me in Tahoe. I highly recommend it. We love Toast. We always have a good experience.

I went with a couple of my friends to Toast after learning about the change of ownership and not knowing what to expect. We all had some very delicious appetizers - Spicy Masala Fries, Onion Rings, Indian Samosas with Mint Chutney. They all were very delicious, piping hot and all made fresh. The Salmon Curry was so authentic and original and tasted so good with the butter naan. All the food came out quickly after the appetizers and the service was just superb! Recommend them highly and we're certainly coming back for more!

The veggie-topped pizza had a delightful mix of colorful vegetables that added both flavor and visual appeal. The crust was thick and satisfyingly crisp, while the combination of cheeses melted over the veggies created a rich and indulgent taste. The presentation was well-executed, with the toppings evenly distributed and the pizza cut into neat slices. Overall, a delicious and visually appealing dish that's perfect for pizza lovers

my experience at this restaurant was quite delightful. the steak was cooked with perfection it was tender and full of flavours. The gobi pakoras were also fantastic The combination of these two dishes created a memorable and satisfying dining experience.The ambiance and service were also commendable, making it a place worth revisiting. If you're a fan of both steak and pakora, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!

My first review ever, i hope I never get to write such reviews in future. Avoid this restaurant like the plague if you value good food and decent service. Our recent experience was nothing short of a culinary nightmare. First, the wait times were atrocious. Despite promises of food arriving within 15-20 minutes, we sat for over 45 minutes with empty stomachs and growing frustration. When the food finally did arrive, it was a colossal disappointment. The thali was a joke. I've never seen such meager portions in an Indian restaurant. The dal was an inedible disaster, swimming in a sea of salt. My wife's butter chicken offered an even grosser surprise:we found a paper piece in the curry. To add insult to injury, our polite complaint about the paper in the food was met with utter indifference from the owner. Not an apology, not a replacement dish, just a shrug and a dismissive attitude. This sealed the deal for us is: they clearly not interested in customer satisfaction. Finally, to top it all off, the owner gave us a disapproving look when we opted not to tip for this disastrous experience. The audacity! Do yourself a favor and skip this resturant. There are countless other Indian restaurants in town that offer delicious food, attentive service, and owners who actually care about their customers. This one is a resounding miss on all fronts.
