Tahoe Bear Tea House

Cafe Coffee store Bubble tea store

🫤 The staff and the overall interior store experience was great. Fun design and had a Lego section and games for patrons to keep busy. It's just their drinks were less than desirable though. I was hopeful when I read that their standard of sweetness is 25%, because I'm not big on super sweet drinks.... People often mention drinks, boba, sweet, time,

The staff and the overall interior store experience was great. Fun design and had a Lego section and games for patrons to keep busy. It's just their drinks were less than desirable though. I was hopeful when I read that their standard of sweetness is 25%, because I'm not big on super sweet drinks. I always like my tea lightly sweet with a strong tea profile. I didn't get any of that with the peach tea that I ordered. Instead, it was teeth chattering sweet and very watered down tea flavor. It tasted like straight syrup. I asked if they could help adjust it, and they were more than accommodating, which I appreciated. But unfortunately, even after their attempt, it was still too sweet. I didn't want to bother them again since they were busy. My partner's Jasmine milk tea suffered the same problems, bland and not strong enough tea profile. It was really watered down. I'm not sure what tea leaves they use or how they steep their teas, but it definitely needs some looking into for a better tea experience in my opinion.

Had so much fun here worth a stop if you want bubble tea or a wonderfully made latte. I wish I took a picture before I mixed my latte ! I made this little Lego thing I hope it makes someone's day!

Surprisingly this was a legit boba spot in Lake Tahoe! The interior is super cute with kawaii decor of bears and nice ambiance. It was quite crowded when I went Sunday afternoon, but the wait wasn't so bad. I ordered at front a fruity green tea with popping boba (think it was pink guava) the first time. It was so good I came back a second time and ordered lychee green tea with lychee popping boba. So yummy! The first time the drink was a bit to sweet, but the second time around it wasn't so bad. I got 25% sweetness and less ice. Love the popping boba flavor that pairs well with the green tea. It definitely tastes like the fruit. They also had a bunch of other drinks (milk teas, latte, hot drinks, etc). And guess what... they also had soft serve ice cream in Asian flavors! And... you can pick the flavor of the cone as well! My husband tried the Thai ice cream with coconut. Two flavors in one and it was sooooo goood. Loved the combination of those two. Service was OK. Both times the workers seem impatient and didn't smile. The first time one worker gave me an ugly look for some reason. I ended not tipping due to that. I understand they're busy but no need to give out negative vibes. There's a lego wall to keep you occupy and some seating across the boba shop. It's a big space for boba shop. Despite the service I'd come back here again to grab their boba drinks. It's hard not to crave them during the summer!

I absolutely love bubble tea, and this place is absolutely amazing at specializing in it. They have so many different types and I have definitely made it a personal mission to try them all. I would say the Honeydew Milk Tea with Boba is definitely a personal fav so far. The staff is always wonderful and friendly and the place has some nice tables and seating areas for those waiting or those who wish to enjoy their tea while chatting with friends or on a date. Definitely another nice Tahoe place.

The Tea I ordered was way toooooo watered down ( The Jasmine Milk Tea With Brown Sugar Boba) . It was As if I was drinking colored water. The bobas inside were just ok. I might give it a second try and order something different. The service was excellent and the place was clean

Cute place, fun soft serve(4 types of ice cream cones), delish hot and cold drinks(on the sweet side), clean bathrooms, decent temperature indoors, AND A LEGO CORNER TO ENTERTAIN KIDS! Fabulous place!

We ordered 5 kinds of Milktea and smoothies. They're too blant, and the sweetness is not enough. Then we checked the stickers on each drink, and their default sugar level is 25%! That's ridiculous! The standard sugar level must be 100%, you people! And you must ask your customers what sugar level they like. We want to like it, but we can't, we really can't. We've tasted a lot of Milkteas, and so far, this is the worst.

Wish they opened earlier than 12pm. They're missing out on a lot of business. Their drinks are amazing though and service is top notch

They have so many flavors, it's hard to choose. I got Taro milk tea and it was delicious. Will definitely be back the next time I visit Tahoe!
