Fire + Ice is located in The Shops at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe, with a connecting door to Marriott Vacation Club where we were staying. What a delightful surprise we found inside this very busy restaurant. There are two option for dining: appetizers and bar-type food, which are served ONLY on the patio out front; or the Signature Grill Experience, which is served inside. That was our choice. Once you are seated and the host explains the process, diners go to--in my terms--"the raw food room" where each station has options for guests to choose what to have stir-fried. There also is a salad bar section. For the stir-fry, diners have the option of traditional Asian fare, Mexican-type selections, even Italian and American options. After sanitizing your hands and pulling on a disposable kitchen glove, you fill your metal, round bowl to the brim with your food selections, then, using a separate smaller bowl, select your sauces. Next, you take your food and stand around a massive, round flat-top grill where skilled chefs cook your food and then serve it to you on a dinner plate. Fantastic, fun, delicious. Dinner was $32/pp; lunch is $21/pp. Not sure what the difference is as we were there for dinner. Will definitely eat there again the next time we're in Tahoe.

Fire + Ice is a fun and interactive dining experience located in Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe. The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat grill where you can choose from a variety of fresh ingredients to create your own custom dishes. The grill is staffed by experienced chefs who will cook your food to order right in front of you. The food at Fire + Ice is generally good, but not great. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are cooked well, but the flavors are a bit bland- get the teriyaki sauce for addition flavor. There are a few standout dishes, such as the grilled salmon and the steak, but for the most part, the food is just average. The service at Fire + Ice is friendly and attentive. The wait staff is happy to help you choose your ingredients and cook your food to your liking. The restaurant can get crowded, especially on weekends, but the staff does a good job of keeping things moving. Overall, Fire + Ice is a fun and casual dining option in South Lake Tahoe. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. If you're looking for a unique dining experience with a bit of entertainment, Fire + Ice is a good choice.

FiRE + iCE Tahoe was a supercool fun eating experience! It was our first time and the food, atmosphere, service and people were great. A full bar with several TVs for watching sports and staffed with friendly inviting staff. After ordering drinks we were given the tour and explained how everything worked. Grab a bowl, fill with pasta, veggies, meats and grad a sauce. Take it out to the center grill and the cook makes it for you, and it is all you can eat! The food was tasty and you create your own flavor. What a great time and I recommend you stop in and enjoy! Local beers on tap and more!

Sep 2023: Was here for drinks mostly on a chilly Labor Day in Tahoe. Bartender was friendly. Made us strong drinks. Fire Ice_T and a Margarita with an espresso Martini. Chili fries was tasty. Parking in the lot opposite.

This has become my number one place to go when I visit Taco with friends and family. The food is absolutely delicious if you make the right combination, and there are a variety of options! I know I will be dreaming of this place in the future. You can't go wrong with the Mongolian option. The staff are quite busy, But they do try to get to you as quickly as possible. We did have to request our server several times to get drinks, but that's understandable when it's super busy. The way it works is you get a small bowl and pick your items, and sauce and a different bowl. You can go as many times as you want. Make different. Not able to take food to go.Definitely left feeling stuffed and worth the money. Oh, and did I mention there's an all you can eat salad bar as well?

Of all the places we ate in Lake Tahoe this was our favorite! What a great concept 😉 we will definitely be back to this place. It is on the back of the Marriott so don't get discouraged when you can't get in the building....we almost left but walked around the corner and the place was open with a patio on the back of the building. Loved it!!!! Great staff, great food, great location, great concept and just super fun and good!!!!

We really enjoyed hanging out at the bar after a long day of skiing. My buddy met us and we were well served by the attentive bartender. We will be back to try some more of the signature dishes.

The food quality is horrible and so was the service. We walked in without being greeted so we just sat down. All the vegetables were wilted and brown. They threw the lettuce head inside the salad! We got one plate ready, the meat and tofu were sour. I told the waiter and he said "what you want me to do? I'm not your waiter." I had to tell someone since ours were nowhere to be found and we were the only table (for good reason). I told them we really didn't eat anything so we're leaving. He wanted to give us a bill for food that was obviously bad and we did not eat. If not for tourism I wouldn't know how this establishment still exists.

I came for lunch and was not disappointed. You choose your own ingredients and the chefs cook your food in an open circular area making the experience interactive and fun. The ingredient choices were plentiful and the final dishes were great. There is also plenty of seating inside and outside giving you even more choices and the service was fantastic. This place should definitely be on your places to try out.

This place was a lot of fun. They have a great selection of appetizers and drinks. I was especially happy that they didn't blink when I ordered a drink not on the menu and it arrived exactly how I like it. Overall it's fun for adults and kids. I will definitely go again.

Food was great. Inside seating was a pretty slick setup. However our seat outside was lackluster. Kind of shoved in a corner with no view of the live band or anything worth looking at. We will certainly be back but we will be a little more specific on where we want to sit to really enjoy the atmosphere.

Definitely not the buffet experience I was looking forward to. The website description is misleading. The buffet side of the restaurant is done in a Mongolian style. As in, you grab your ingredients and then give your bowl of goods to the person at the grill, to cook it. There is a salad bar as well. A regular salad bar. Just salad. No soups. No desserts. Just salad at the salad bar. The website mentions Latin and Italian foods for the buffet. I suppose that is because there are jalapeños and pasta noodles offered for you to scoop up and add to your bowl, to get grilled. The tables did also house menus with the salt and pepper shakers. I did not look at the menu, because I was there for a full buffet experience. It was a very slow time, being late-morning on a Wednesday, so the service was prompt. The restaurant was clean.

I'm so glad we ran into this place while on our trip. I had no idea how it worked so our waiter gave us a full tour and explained that it was magnolia bbq all you can eat. I was impressed by the first trip to the grill they have many noodles to choose from, toppings, meats, tofu, seafood and sauces. They also said they do hamburgers & hotdogs. The staff there was amazing and got our dogs a water dish. The guy working the grill was super friendly and welcoming. I recommend trying their schezuen sauce

What a place to eat, with entertainment! You can design multiple types of meals here! They have so many different types on protein, veggies, noodles, other sides and sauces! You can eat as much as you like. The waitress said 11 bowls is the most so far. I was only able to get down 6. Great job will be back

Interesting concept where you pick your own meats, pasta, and vegetable and then they will cook it in a large grill located in the middle of the restaurant. For $31 (dinner), I must say that it's good value for money for this all you can eat buffet.

Great food and exceptional service. Gabbie was an enthusiastic grill master. Jason was a rockstar server/ bartender. Can't recommend this place enough. Awesome options for all dietary needs.

Mongolian grill style all you can eat for $30 a person. The food was surprisingly amazing! It was a walk up and grab your food with self seasoning and sauces to have the food cooked in. Wish I had this place back home.

Fire and Ice was such a fun restaurant! The food was delicious, we ate the all you can eat Mongolian BBQ. What really made the experience was RYAN! The talented cook who put on such a fun show! To the owners of Fire and Ice, this man deserves some recognition! Thank you Ryan for making our night fun and delicious! We will definitely be returning and hope to see Ryan!

We had an incredibly enjoyable evening at Fire and Ice! They accommodated my ski group of 34 people from the Palm Beach Gator Snow Ski Club with first class friendliness and efficiency. I arranged our dinner three months in advance with the manager, Adam. He and his assistant manager, Kyle, were ready for us on the night of our event. The server, Jeanette, handled our group with the same friendliness and efficiency. My group was thrilled with the meal and theme of the restaurant!!!! My highest compliments and thanks to Adam, Ryan and Jeanette for making our evening memorable...we've been recommending your restaurant to our other ski groups from the Florida Ski Council (about 400 other visitors to the area) who are planning to dine at Fire and Ice!

First time here and we were starving .It was recommend to us from a friend and what a pleasant surprise how good this place was. Very unique way of making you're own dish. You get a bowl and fill it with a pasta or rice add all the proteins and veggies you want . Fill a cup with what sauce you want . They stir fry all you're selections and then add the sauce at the end . Oh ! Did i mention its all you can eat ! Yes go back as many times as you would like . I did a rice stir fry with chicken and shrimp . Then a noodle stir fry. Two people plus drinks it was 60$ . Our waitress was a local and very nice and went out of her way to help and guide us through the process. Highly recommend !!
