Definitely avoid this hotel. Old rooms and Very poor air-conditioning. You will definitely feel suffocated here. Despite complaints to service staff, nothing is done. Also, the attitude of staff is equally indifferent. It's better to book Lemon Tree SP Road or preferably many others in the same cost bracket.

Went to Citrus cafe which is the dining hotel inside lemon tree , Chennai. Ordered chettinad style egg curry (which was not in their menu), paratha and rice. I must admit that the food was really good and tasty. The rating is low because - Menu options too limited. If you are alcohol lover then all options I was asking for were unavailable. The ambience was not cooled properly. Atleast I expected above when I am going for dining in a 4 or 5 star property. Even 3 star.

I stayed there for 5 days with my family when I reached to hotel receptionist didn't informed me about the facilities which I can avail in the hotel apart from it when the next day housekeeping came they have not provided the things which have been used and finished. Moreover in dining when I asked for parcel my food they said we don't have boxes so u can have ur food here only. At last when I was about to checkout from there I have to wait for 1 hour to complete the formalities. Every employee there in the hotel have attitude problem. I will give -2 rating for this hotel.. Don't go there....waste of money.....

Visited lemon tree for a birthday party. They have parking facility available. Party hall is in ground floor easy accessibility. Hall is spacy and comfortable , AC is good. They serve buffet , food is very average. Service is moderate, needs improvement. Spoons and plates not available in numbers. No proper disposal. Food is served as part of hall, clumsy to move. Hall + food they charge 1500 rs per person. Felt over cost.

We Visited Lemon Tree Shimona in Ramapuram Main Road to confirm on a family function and we were told by the Reception staff and Mr Senthil that the Banquet hall is available for February 2023. We were given the F&B Manager's contact details for confirmation and we called the Manager for confirmation at least five times for which there was no response. Finally when we spoke with Mr Prabhu Kumar we were told that the hall is already booked and there is no availability. We were disappointed at the response of the staff members of Lemon Tree, Shimona and this is an example as to how an Hospitality Industry should not be.

This is my second time stay here, the only reason is the location is near to the trade centre. The room looks good, but if you go to check the detail you will find many many small defects. Seems it is too old already. Unfortunately I suddenly find a yellow dirty on the bed sheet. Of course I asked room service change it immediately.

Lemon Tree Hotel is really luxurious. It has beautiful lobby as you enter the hotel and as you walk towards your room tou will cherish the beautiful corridors of the hotel. With that the lighting and the ambience at the hotel is something you will wait & watch and surely admire. The food is great and they serve almost every cuisine you can think off. It room size is great and are equipped with luxurious amenities all around. Hotel also has a parking space, Sauna, gym and a large swimming pool. Hotel staff is really polite and helps you round the clock. They also have pick & drop facility if you ask for. I would really chose Lemon Tree Hotel again for my stay when I visit again.

Overall a good place to stay at. Friendly staff, good food. Cons... Limited staff model tends to delay things a bit. Maybe food menu can be updated. Overall...i have gone back to this Lennon tree because of the comfortable and familiar feeling that it gives. Recommended

We had our daughter's first birthday celebration here. The hotel staff were very helpful and they ensured COVID regulations were fully met. The arrangements were made exactly as per what were discussed before booking the hall. The manager Mr. Raja was present till the end of the event to ensure our requirements were met. Food was too good and highly appreciated by the guests, its definitely worth the money.

I have been to this hotel's restaurant 'Citrus' multiple times. The food is reasonably good although prices are on the higher side for the quality and taste they offer. It's peaceful to sit here and have your meal. The hotel usually maintains good hygiene and cleanliness although this time I noticed that the restroom was not clean.

I recently stayed at a hotel and overall, I had a pretty good experience. Here's my four-star review: The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel had good amenities, such as a fitness center and a pool, which I appreciated. The location was convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. However, the room was a bit smaller than I expected, and the walls were a bit thin, so I could hear some noise from other guests. Additionally, the breakfast was decent but could have been better in terms of variety and quality. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others, but with the caveat that there were a few minor issues.

We stayed there for 1 night only. Loved everything. Located only 30 mins far from Chennai Airport, exactly opposite of Miot Hospital. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, clean, The bathroom is really nice. Every little things are taken cared for. They have free wifi, running hot water, AC and all the usual necessities. However i really loved the the consumables they provided, like small disposable shaving tools, toilet kits, various selection of tea/coffee etc to make in the morning... They also have a well functioning Restaurant service at the ground floor, named Citrus. Food can be taken at the restaurant, and room service is also available.

  • 3/5 Arvind I. 11 months ago on Google
Deducted two stars only on account of a pathetically dysfunctional AC system. You cannot afford to have a bad AC system in a territory as warm as Chennai. Food at the restaurant was ok. Not a very elaborate platter. However, the front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. A word of appreciation of or Ms. Namita at the front desk for managing customer requirements with total ease.

I recently stayed at a hotel, I had a pretty good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was really good and the restaurant staff were asked options/opinions while placing an order and i would like to thank Sheetal for her work. The Laundry prices are too high compared to other hotels that's the one i found negative other than that overall it's good and value for money.

Good location, easily approachable. But had bad experience while booking hotel online. Front desk is not cooperative for online bookings, even they provides less amount invoice against the you actually paid online. My experience was very bad in 1st time booking in this hotel. Hope they will improve services for online books.

Stay at Lemon Tree was pretty convenient. They are following the government norms for COVID and take a self declaration from all their guests. Rooms are clean and the linens are also proper. Room Service is punctual and taste of the good is also good. Ample parking space is available both for 4 wheelers and 2 wheeler. Complementary breakfast has limited options but good enough to give you a happy breakfast feeling when you are done. This is at walkable distance from L&T Manapakkam campus. We have a KFC centre nearby for those who want to enjoy the KFC.

Usually I am fan of Lemon tree hotel chain & has been using it for last 11 years across the country. My experience in their more than 10+ locations has been absolutely good & different from typical 4 star hotels. But this time, it was disappointing & I will mainly be covering on the things which I didn't like. I chose this property for the first time & found the difference from entry point itself. No proper lighting, no security to do baggage security check. While reaching the reception, lights were again dim for no reason. May be due to COVID, visitors & this staffs were less, yet such feeling was little surprising. Room was just ok with few of the things missing (hand towel) or not working properly (bathroom tap). This was again a first time experience. While returning after dinner from outside at around 10.30 pm, I found the entry light off as well. This made me feel like I am staying in some 2 star road side hotel. Still giving it 3 star for two reasons; I assume it to be not like this in general & I found breakfast serving team as good as my old experiences.

Property is in close vicinity to many of the business hubs. Property is OK and not justifying for the cost they charge. Room flooring are out of place and the parking is appropriate. For a brand like lemon tree....i feel it a bit downgraded. Even the buffet spread is very limited... For the price they charge. Nevertheless, as its situated just opposite MIOT Hospital and other business hubs, it will be a viable option to stay.

Went for a birthday event in Lemon Tree (porur). Good ambience, the room seems to be good and comfortable. Good interior design, the food cost around ₹1200 each, around 70+ members and the decorations cost ₹20k. The food taste was good and mutton briyani was well served.

Lemon tree ar manappakkam, chennai. It is in highway. car parking small. No wheel chair entrance. washroom can be improved. overall just ok.

The entrance is mediocre. Only one staff was found in the reception and he too was on the phone. The rooms are good and neatly maintained. The hotel has not come out of the COVID impact and it appears that the outer appearance gives a poor impression which is untrue. Needs some serious thought process and implementation for bouncing back.

Cheat of a hotel. Accepts booking even for the time that has already passed and does not even refund the booking amount. Pathetic and Rude staff. To be avoided as there are much better places at the same price

Very lazy staff who works own their comfort and not the guests.. The staff at this particular place doesn't even know what hospitality is. I even told them that I work in a similar hospitality industry but still their attitude towards hospitality remained the same. Very disappointed.

The first room - where we were put had weird composition - in the bath tub they had fixed shower. The bed was in very awkard position, which made sleeping difficult. During the second night stay - when we shifted to another room, we could hear voice from adajacent room singing till 2.30 a.m. because of which we could not get good night sleep. Overall - not a good experience considering lemon tree brand name.

A good business hotel on the main road. To save cost they operate with 1 lift and no AC on in lobby n reception area. Rest all is fine. Rooms are kind of okay. Services are fine. One can stay for business trips here. Food is good and service is also good. Not a amazing experience but nothing very bad as well.

I stayed here for a night on 19th April. Whilst everything was fine and great, I have a complaint . There is an offer in spin the wheel and I did it. The pointer was in the yellow zone and the lounge staff insisted it was black zone. Yellow entitled me to free drinks !! Would like to upload the photo of the pointer

Not properly maintained, very poor condition of rooms, water logging in the washrooms too. The frame of the mirror was literally chipping off and hot water wasnt available at all.

When you pay for a good business hotel you expect hot water 24/7 but no hot water post 10pm. And we had a flight to catch at 4am. Imagine having a bath in freaking cold water! Avoid, this hotel as when I informed the front desk Abraham he did not care two hoots about it. You can get better for this range where at least hot water will be given round the clock!

Really great hotel!! I stayed there for a weeking recovering from a surgery. The hotel staff were very accommodating and supportive. Their house keeping was very good ensuring the room was cleaned everyday. The restaurant downstairs was also very good. Food was very tasty and the hotel staff took into consideration my dietary restrictions to serve food that I can consume. Thank you Lemon Tree!
