Harrowing experience with GRT,Nanganallur. Went on the occasion of Deepavali, no coordination between staff inspite of few customers and many staff. Poor hospitality as they keep pointing fingers to next area without actually guiding us to the actual area. Water was also not provided even as we asked for some. They pointed to a cooler in the corner while we saw some were provided courteous service. Queue for billing and delivery is pathetic as they keep attending all together without first come first service. Parking is even worse. No transparency on the pricing even. Overall a poor experience.

Good place for gold and silver items shopping. Any items u will get varieties in good number. Quality is reliable, for many years we are buying gold n silver here. But no significant discount in any items which needs improvement and billing in same floor should be there , not convenient for aged people.

Hi Team, I am customer of GRT for more then 10 years. Even due to one query , the manager also appreciated me has a regular customer. But, recently, i faced many issues with GRT especially with Nanganallur branch. The person in old-jeweller counter and the person in other counter, they are working on it own method. after we raised concern, then only, they are replied and provide the actual or provide some changes in the overall value. sometime it is also happen after too many time meet the floor managers. Sometime, the floor managers are also shows their faces . I am unable to explore my experience and really feeling bad. Based on my just visit, kindly confirm whether all items are manufacture from your factory or external resource. because, during buying, the stone weight is less . but, during selling or exchange, the stone weight they mentioned has high. kindly understood my concern. But, still i am trusting GRT. Kindly consider the value of the customer.

The worst service.. we bought silver arunaal. We changed the size. We asked for one size. But they gave other size. Size itself wrongly gave even it is interchanged. When delivering also we asked size and gram.that handover person you checked in first floor itself like that rudely asked. Now we found its wrong. Worst customer service.

They will respect the person who is newly taking the chit.. we will become invisible if we are taking back the chit or purchase value is less than 1L. They have totally spoiled the happy mindset of purchasing the jewellery. Licking the rich boot is the main moto and secret of their of their business. All the best.. I will never ever visit again.

Fantastic service by Raja (diamond section). He is such a nice gentle and humble sales person. Because of his customer service, I was very much impressed with the brand GRT. Raja proves that employee are the integral part to promote the brand. Employees are a parallel promoters for the brand. Such kind of employee (Raja - diamond section) must be celebrated by the organisation, I wish him a great success on his service.

I would like to share my review about Poornima-M- whose service offered was commendable. The behaviour employee was way polite and positive. Considering my mom's condition for all purchase we did though sections were different she solely transitted to bring in choice and help us make purchase easier. It is a medium sized jewellery shop of the famous GRT group in the heart of Nanganallur market. It is on the main road and has adequate space to park your two wheelers. Cars should be parked into the nearby narrow lanes. The chit division, the cash counter, estimation of old jewellery are in the ground floor. Any purchases above 50000 requires PAN card or it's number during billing. Credit card and debit card transaction is accepted. Silver jewelry and goldsmith is available in the first floor. Additional gold jewelry are available in the second floor. I have been a customer for GR Thanga Maligai for over two decades. Their wastage charges are high but they have latest designs.

Good place to buy silver and Gold Jewellery. The staff were patient ans helpful in finding what customers are looking for. Good designs and great range. Silver items that I gifted for my friend's wedding are lovely and they offered amazing discounts.

I gave this 1 star for the name GRT and their hospitality in the other branches like Adyar and T-nagar. Let me talk about the nanganallur . This branch is very near to my home so this time I preferred it to redeem my saving scheme. That was the grave mistake I did by choosing This branch . It shattered good the image of GRT IN ME. All lazy people with no idea how to attend the customer and let them complete transaction smooth and fast. I took 3 - 4 hrs for me to complete the shopping for 50k chit. I like to mention person at the bill hope his name starts with R. He not even bother to see the calculation instead he asked me to pay higher amount then I showed him the right calc . He took more than 30 mins for each bill that day. TO ALL PEOPLE WORKING OVER . WE ARE ALL LOCKING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH YOU FOR 11 MONTHS . Very happy I purchased studs & Chain as I liked. I did dis thro chit , exchanging gold. Ur staff Mr Raja (chain section)made every thing comfortable for me. Estimation Billing every thing was smooth.

Good hospitality & all staff are very kind & excellent behaviour by exhibiting the jewels till you satisfy. The staff Mr Raja & Supervisor Mr Karunakaran are very kind & extending all support from buying till you finish the transaction. Keep it up.

They have new collections and good services rendered but billing tests our patience. It's better to have billing on each floor than waiting in queue. I've seen many senior citizens waiting in the wrong queues. In many jwellers I've seen ppl billing in the same place we pick our ornaments. I dunno why it's not getting implemented.

GRT is a always go to shop for good luck and buying gifts for any occasions .. Subathra from silver section is very customer friendly and smiling face. I recommend her as a go to person for your silver purchases.

August 15th i visited nanganallur grt for the first time. Bought 3 savaram chain . A staff "soma sundaram" really helped us a lot . Very polite attitude even he answered to all our questions patiently. Such a good soul. I am really thankful to him for being patient in answering all questions. He even speak to my kids like family member. Thank u brother. Good service by soma sundaram.

Designs and customers service are top notch. No other shop in Chennai don't have variety like GRT. Only making charge make you surprise. Most of the jewels are 20 percent making charge. If u say that they call supervisor they come and reduce 0.5 percent that won't make any difference. They can give complimentary hand bags and purse that even granny can't use, very old model. One advise from my side they can stop giving that complimentary and reduce the making charges

Courteous staff and management. Please keep up this service. Request to the management : Have seen staff standing in all counters. Would be nice if they get a stool or chair to sit.

The reception is good. Google maps guides you the right way. There are parking facilities are available. They have a variety of collections and branches. If the desired product is not there, They will order it. The customer service is good.

Unique collection of jewels. Staff are very friendly. Ample parking space for both 2 and 4 wheelers.

This jewellery store is very closest to Nanganallur market. Ther is no sufficient parking place. So one should prefer going off peak hours during weekdays. Otherwise it's pretty good buying experience inside the store. Little congestion inside the store as it has very small space.

Not very customer friendly, very less variety ...as we are investing our hard earned money so need varieties.... I had a bad experience with the sales team...little lethargic in sharing info and displaying products...

Today I went to GRT at Nanganallur, I wanted to buy ear chain for my mother. I gave my old ear chain of 3.160 gram and the person who does the valuation said 30% deduction for old gold. Today’s gold rate is Rs 4400 and after deducting 30% he valued it for Rs 7500 approx. After explaining him on the calculations he agreed to pay Rs 9750 and said it is wrongly calculated. I went to TNagar and gave it to a elite jeweller, he discounted 21% towards wastage for the old gold as the same is not 916 KDM and Rs 15 less per gram compared to market rate. Saved few thousands of hard earned money and also purchased 3.5 GM gold (ear chain)

From our grand parents we are regular customers of GRT,but grt nanganallur branch ,we faced a bitter experience in encashing our gift card....In which the grt staff has not responded properly and refused to guide us the procedure...

Exchange of old silver article is a pain. Testing is done as if you are giving fake. 25% is deducted if not from this jeweller. Service is good. These are not investment, but only mental satisfaction.

Ample space of open parking is available. Hand sanitizer is offered and temperature check is performed. Lift is available and customer service is good.

Collections are good.. But they will not show. U have to view and choose. Then they ll show. We purchased ear ring and silver.. The person on ear ring section simply stand and will show only which we ask . Don't knw to give service.. Felt bad.. But we bought gold as they have good collection. Otherwise we will go to any other shop only.

Had a good experience shopping at GRT nanganallur. Nanganallur is a place I dread to shop because of the parking issue but this place has arranged for a decent parking in an adjacent lane. Got a warm welcome and was guided duly to the desired section. The sales girl was very polite and spent time to explain the wastage and other terms. Delivery took a bit of time and the person to gift wrap my purchase took some time. Overall, was satisfactory and the collections were good.

Located in prime spot in Nanganallur. Has good parking space. The jewel collection is comparatively less though. Also, the billing experience can be improved a bit. With only one person collecting money we had to wait for a while, with people not following queue and crowing around the counter as usual.

it is located in the road side and can be located easily through its big hoarding/ sign board. it has quite a few bike parking space but just about 2 or 3 for cars.. but people can try to park their cars in the inner streets adjacent to the store. they have hand picked collections and not as many there would be in Tnagar or adyar branches. The staff are polite and show the products based on the requirements. One thing which I personally didn't like in this shop is the waiting time to pay for the purchase. I have been there several times in the past couple of years and almost everytime the cashier takes about 5 - 10 mins to get the payment done. (this is when I'm paying and not including the time when others are waiting in front of me) Second one would be the poor air circulation in ground floor right in the entrance. usually that's the place where people would expect good air conditioning or fans but here that's the place where there is no vents or fans but just sultry atmosphere especially while paying for the purchase 😞

Limited parking and very small shop, compared to other GRTs. No valet for parking too. Dont even think of going in weekends and holidays, you'll find yourself stuck like in a fish market. Thats how crowded it gets.

We went for ear piercing. Aasari explained us the right procedure and did the piercing very well. The overall shopping experience was good

Chennai People are always having a special interest in GRT. Gold and Silver are always in a good quality and I always prefer buying through gold purchase scheme which avoids wastage charges. We love to go to GRT for every occasion.

I am a customer in GRT for more than 12 years. The Nanga shop provides worst service and no one in the shop is addressing customer issue. Even the managers do not respond to the query properly.

Service is excellent. They keep you so much busy that at times you tend to forget that you are A Gold purchaser. An important VIP. A bit of bargaining can be done to a limited extent. Being gold for decades we have depended on GRT. Somehow there is a feeling always that the deal could have been better. But till date no cheating noticed by me.

Very good place. Mr Sampath is very cordial. Staffs need to be more knowledgeable and brisk and efficient. Compared to main branches collections are limited but can be accessed thru video call. In the whole a good place for gold buyers. Trustworthy

Nice shop with all varities in gold, silver, diamond and platinum. Chit scheme is good, but they have reduced wastage cap to 18% i guess since June 2022. Though wastage rates are higher, gold quality is good. You have aachari in 2nd floor to melt old ornaments and also to fix broken things. Go to this shop in the morning time 10 am on weekdays. So there will not be much crowd and aachari will be free. On Weekends, he will be surrounded by lot of people.
