The food is good, will say even great, but the service is really poor. Although they are very polite, responsive and positive, they are unbelievably slow and forgetful. I can’t understand why something that they should take out of a jar, put it in a plate and serve it, tales two reminders and one hour. Food form the lunch menu also takes quite a lot of time, even when the place is not full. I recommend the food, be prepare a lot of patience.

This was by far the best food we’ve had in Bulgaria. Let the servers suggest traditional Rodopi mountain dishes and enjoy the flavours. Do not miss the soups! DELICIOUS 🥂🙌🙏

For sure the best place in town and in the region. Prices are very affordable, I would even say cheap. Huge variety of traditional rodospki dishes, all meat and diary products are local, even most of the vegetables too. You can buy milk, cheese etc. highly recommended, and the owner is always there

We had an excellent dinner late on a Saturday afternoon, sat in the shaded courtyard. The waitress spoke good English and suggested particular vegetarian dishes for me. The grilled vegetables were excellent and the patatnik the best we'd had for a long time. My husband went the other way and chose the traditionally cured beef and the horse burger. We drank the excellent house red wine. It was served in a jug but was as good as some of the more expensive bottles we have had. Thoroughly recommended.

Great traditional Bulgarian restaurant in Chepelare near the river. Three of us had lunch there on Saturday and it was delicious. Home made garlic bread, yogurt salad with cucumber, and a delicious salad of peppers, aubergine and goats cheese. The patatnik was the best anywhere. Lovely strawberry and passion fruit lemonades. Lovely garden plus 4 cute kittens. The interior is basically an ethnographic museum. I recommend.

Very tasty food and good service. The waitress was very sweet and helpful. We has salad, fried potatoes and kavarma. Everything was delicious! They had patstnik, klin, kachamak and all traditional Rodopean meals you should try.

One of the most delicious food we ever ate!!! Great service and amazing local dishes. The atmosphere is typical Balkan with beautiful garden. Make sure to try the beans Haydushki style.

We loved Pepelanovskiya, it felt so cozy ambience and also quite Bulgarian Traditional inside plus an outdoor patio in the back with a really chill atmosphere… However, the best part! I would say the food it’s really great! Exploring Bulgaria 8 weeks now We can say here they have 2 of our top favorite salads!! - Ahchiiska Ugodiya - Ахчийска Угодия and the Rhodopian Girl - Бяла родоичанка! Those 2 are delicious!!! And also really kind warm staff everywhere:) Really loved it… And will comeback
