A small very local traditional Bulgarian snackbar. This family run cafe serves up delicious food for a very reasonable price. Try pork kebab, fried chicken livers, Essen (Autumn Salad) which has homemade aubergine relish added and is garlicky and flavoursome. Outdoor seating for smokers. In the summer masses of geraniums in bloom. In the winter a wood burner will dry out damp coats. Gets busy at lunchtime with local workers. Go early for a table.

Great small restaurant, managed fully by the owners. Food is amazing! Never miss to stop there when we are in Chepelare.

Always good simple fare at very reasonable prices. Been coming here for years and it's probably my favourite lunch spot in Chepelare.
