I wish I can give this restaurant 6 stars!! Unbelievably good meat dishes from the grill (roštilj). A bit away from the Belgrade centre but worth taking the taxi out and eating with locals.

We went to this place a few times years ago when they were at their original location on Konjarnik. They were great then and even better now. The food was AMAZING! The service was AMAZING. We were having dinner last night with a friend who told us that we need to go to Trpeza because their veal soup was the best, bar none. And they were right. I love a good veal soup. This one was rich, flavourful, and smooth. It had a scoop of sour cream on it and plenty of veal. Grilled hot peppers in olive oil and garlic marinade with carrots on top. Amazing. Breaded grilled peppers stuffed with cheese. So, so good. Mixed grilled meat was irresistible. I am not sure what I liked better, sausage, punjena pljeskavica, pljeskavica, grilled pork. It's hard to decide. A true flavor of traditional Serbian cuisine. The food was amazing, but the service was even better. SLAVISA is superb. He was the right mix of friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Feel free to ask him for a suggestion, and trust that you will get the right advice. By all means, if you are in Belgrade, go visit Trpeza, you will be glad you did.

It was perfect as always. From the moment you walk through the door, their warm and descriptive manner makes you feel special. More than enough, satisfying and delicious tastes make you satisfied. Absolutely indispensable.

Trpeza still great! We had an unexpected family lunch in Trpeza. Mot the first occasion for something like this. The staff found a perfect place for us rather quickly. The service was great, and the meals were plentiful and tasty. It was a while since we visited Trpeza previously, so I am unable to tell if the servings have changed, but thos are still huge. On the negative side, I would say that the prices have gone up a bit.

Amazing place to try local food. Very affordable, brilliant service and lovely atmosphere. Location a bit out of the way but if you have a car it is definitely worthwhile.

The food is great, all meat and great meat it is. Service is impeccable! For my taste it's a bit crowded but it's not a deal breaker
