    One of the best hotels we've stayed at. A new venue. Excellent service and friendly staff. Very clean. Breakfast buffet is the best! Truly great food. Buffet dinner is also very good with variety of meat, fish and fruit. Affordable prices, it should be your number 1 choice if you're planning to stay in Valencia area.

    Hotel is okay but service if you have 5star hotel and no water in room is unusall. Bed was comfy and breakfasr have variety.

    Most importantly, this is very far from a 5 star hotel. 1. The outdoor pool is unheated and therefore largely unusable (though open) outside of summer. 2. The spa is banned for children (although they accept bookings from, and therefore take money from, those under 16). Therefore outside of summer, there is nowhere for a child to swim. 3. There are no complementary coffee making facilities in the room. 4. There are no complementary bottles of water in the room. This is absolutely ridiculous, how is one supposed to drink? 5. Check-in takes forever because staff are slow and poorly trained. Check-in should be 2 minutes, maximum. 6. They charge €19 per day to park a car, although the hotel it situated in a village, not a city centre. 7. When I entered the *poolside* bar without shoes I was *shouted at*. I ordered a smoothie from the menu but was told there were no smoothies today. 8. The individual who responds to these comments is argumentative and rather than apologising, tells people how they should have acted differently, by calling down to reception (reception telephone number not supplied) and requesting. Edit after response: Put a bottle of water in each room each day and heat the pool or close it.

    Beautifull hotel, two swimming pools (one on the roof), amazing rooms, very good service. Food is great as well. Only disanvantage is the location, there is basically nothing intresting nearby.

    My partner and I came here for a honeymoon we booked in Hills room number 324. We wanted to stay at Pallms the first day we arrived the worst manager told Alex along with Stefan that we could come the next day to exchange to the other room. We went to the reception at 11:00 am and canceled all our plans for the other room to move. We waited 1 hour at the reception then they said we will get the room at 12:00, then tell alex that we can't get the room because they are fully booked. We have not unpacked our things because we were moving, promises are made in the hotel and then the manager Alex enters into a discussion with the customer. We come all the way from Amsterdam for the first time to Spain to discover the country. This is our worst experience ever and our last time in La Nucia. Thank you Alex for this unforgettable experience in this bad hotel and city with 0% service!!!!!!!!

    First class hotel, we enjoyed it: great staff, super rooms, amazing A/C. The buffet dinner is good, as is the breakfast. The pools are great with plenty of loungers. Highly recommend staying here.

    The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and rooms are stylish, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great, buffet dinner was excellent (Fridays and Saturdays) but on other days there was no buffet and pre-ordered food wasn't as good. Alex and his team were helpful and made us welcome.

    A special mention for the Training manager Gardenia who was very accommodating in helping us find a lost item. Very professional, friendly and helpful. This professionalism extended to the entire team at Barceló. Everyone we met were very friendly. Also the breakfast choice and atmosphere was exceptional. Thank you 🙏

    We spent one night. The hotel is brand new, and the building materials used are first class. It has two outdoor swimming pools, a small one at the terrace located at the chill out area, and a big one at the ground floor. The rooms include a terrace and are spacious, with a small kitchen and well furnished. Food was good also. The spa is quite small. It offers also parking at the basement. The hotel is very calm and noiseless, ideal to have some quality rest. Price wise, is not cheap, but in line with its category.

    Wspaniała obsługa, komfort, opieka na każdym kroku. Niesamowite kolacje (przez 3 dni pobytu nie powtórzyło się ani jedno danie z menu. imponujące! ) Bufet śniadaniowy zawsze obfity i świeży. Pokoje perfekcyjnie czyste, 2-strefowa klimatyzacja (salon i sypialnia), 2 duże telewizory, prywatny taras z leżakami. Nowoczesna kuchnia. Z kuchni nie korzystaliśmy ale wystarczy przy rezerwacji poprosić o przybory kuchenne i będą one dostarczone przed zameldowaniem. W pokoju jest zmywarka. Polecam aplikację Barcelo - można przez nią zamawiać akcesoria (np. żelazko), przybory, usługi a nawet zgłaszać usterki. Na śniadaniu oprócz bufetu jest również kucharz, który może przyrządzić pancake'a, jajko sadzone albo omlet. Część personelu słabo mówi po angielsku ale da się dogadać. Pomimo, że telewizory są SMART nie działa instalacja aplikacji ani screen mirroring

    Our family love this hotel, we are 2 adult and one boy 14 year. We usually book the junior suite and the room is perfect. Everything is clean and fresh and the beds are good. The breakfast has a large selection and a chef who makes different eggs etc. to order. Very fresh and good service. There is also a good standard and good food at the pool restaurant. Overall, all the staff are very professional yet personable from front desk (Sara with staff ⭐️), restaurant service and room keeping (hope to see you soon again Lucia 💕). A hotel we highly recommend and will come back to again.

    Eso fue inolvidable! I’ve been travelling a lot, you can believe me! But this is the first time I felt like I came to be the guest, that never been called. All, literally all the staff was unpleasant, inattentive and acted like unprofessionals. Only one girl was pleasant, it was girl in a bar) Nobody turned a head when we were approaching to the workers, no one smiled, no any good word. We had issues every step we made! We couldn’t have guidelines how to reach our room first, then we couldn’t visit spa (and lady at reception was so arrogant! Like I came free of charge to visit sauna), than we were pushed to spend 20 eur min in a bar to order drink. Ooook. We went out to the city to have dinner and when we came in the night, the gate of garage was broken. Aaand we we not offered with a solution, no! Guy at reception told: no puedo hacer un milagro!)))) really? Is it service? Ok, the room itself is perfect. Clean. And it’s the only good thing at hotel. At breakfast time 2 of 3 coffee machines were broken. Also no solution. I would never recommend this hotel as a warm hosting hotel! And from business point of view it is disaster. We spent 170 eur to have bunch of bad emotions instead of romantic weekend) I’m shocked, señores, I speak Spanish, but, all the time I was treated like foreigner, intentionally they told me sth in English, it’s so funny)))) When we were checked out, nobody asked, how was your stay, sorry if sth was wrong and so on. I visited around 70 hotels all over the world, and here at my new home, Spain, I was treated like unwanted guest. No words!
