A famous medieval castle with a devastating rehabilitation that has eliminated all vestiges. The condition is deplorable with fallen walls. The interior is a little better. There is an interesting permanent exhibition from the Phoenician era. A patio in very poor condition and the rest closed to the public. A big disappointment.

Medieval Islamic archeology, with amphorae and preserves some paintings in arches. It was declared a National Monument in 1931, and is the most emblematic building in San Fernando.

Totally unappealing to the eye, its going through remodelling outside. Looks like a warehouse.

We visited the exhibition for the 275th founding anniversary of La Soledad located in the facilities of El Castillo de San Romualdo. Currently the castle space is used for different cultural activities: exhibitions, concerts, film screenings, etc.

I saw it for the first time with the Christmas decorations (as the castle of the Three Wise Men). In itself it is fine, spacious and normal. It does not highlight a detailed and beautiful structure, it simply fulfills its function. I would take care of or add some more landscaping or even a playground to its exteriors, something that doesn't leave the inhospitable clod of sand around it.

Good place to see the history of San Fernando, they only allow entry into two hallways, the rest is closed, they could open more things from the Castle.

It is good that it is open on Sundays, but in my opinion you can get more out of it. Currently, part of the San Fernando museum is located; But only part of what was before was in the museum. There is a lot of empty space. There is nothing exposed about the great importance that the city had during the war of independence. Always from my point of view, the San Fernando city council is not taking advantage of the importance that the ISLAND OF LEÓN had in the Spanish war of independence. It would be very nice if in some empty room there was an exhibition of that period with the importance it had in the city that during a time when Spain was an island 1810

👍👍 A spectacular park for the little ones. Really lucky to have an area for children to play with so many things: swings, slides, etc. In addition, there are very pleasant picnic areas for young and old and the vegetation is well cared for. The biggest drawback is that some vandals have made graffiti.

👍👍 Very good marsh trail. It is very well signposted and prepared. The return can be done along the beach, making the entire loop at the end. The protection zone for the snowy plover is especially important.

👍👍 Spectacular visit and great guide. (Sergio). A delight. I had the opportunity to accompany His Majesty King Felipe VI on his visit to the Pantheon. I attach some photographs.
