Great atmosphere right on the beach. The restaurant the Wrecked Heron can do a much better job with service and food, especially for the prices they charge. We waited for over 55min for our food.

Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. The beach is easily accessible, very clean and serene. Life guards are available. And there's something for everyone in the family: beach, waves, rock pools for exploring and fishing.

Morning - An awesome awesome place to enjoy a peaceful Holiday - the only problem i have is that there is no signal if you want to work from your Chalet - suggestion - you have everything ...private beach/bar - restaurant facilities/the service is 100% - just no signal for phones // working enviroment - why dont you consider a Tower from MTN/Vodacom extra - they pay you to install the Tower........would be awesome......

The apartments on the beach can't be beaten. Although the sea is to dangerous to swim in, due to riptides, the pools offer a good alternative. The beach is pristine and shells are in abundance.

The place is absolutely beautiful. Great location and stunning views of the ocean. The people visiting were not very friendly though, I experienced so much racism. I was there with my child and she could sense she was unwanted, some of the parents would call their kids if they saw them interacting with her. It was dehuminising 😭 I can safely say that as a black person I will never go there again.

We were surprised by this resort 's beauty and vibe! Lovely sea view and price wise it will fit your budget. Their services are great and friendly staff. Surely will go there again and again. Best holiday if you want to rest and relax.

Lovely vibe and a great view of the beach. Floors are terribly slippery, might be due to the cleaning agent they use but I slipped and fell and fell super hard. I would suggest anti slip mats or equivalent.

Specifically went for dinner at the Resu-wrecked Heron. I was a bit disappointed. My chicken schnitzel was way overcooked. Service was very slow and food took long. I have heard many good things however so could be due long weekend

Great resort. Lovely time with family, perfect view and nice setting. Loads of activities for the children and staff are friendly. Especially cleaning team. Thank you. Area is clean and pools were sparkling. Units are basic, but has everything you need and the view from the second floor is amazing Restaurant service could be a bit faster, but food was tasty and nice cocktails on offer. Maybe a noise monitoring service after a certain time would be great to ensure everyone gets to rest - e.g. 23h00. We were kept awake many evenings. After a certain time music should go off and security should check this.

Actually went to the Resturant. Ridiculously expensive. Don't know about the accommodation. The caravan parks abulations are better. Nice to see frosted glass on tolit doors and showers. Previously you could see through the doors which then lacked privacy.

Absolute Gem of a place. Affordable seaside getaway for the whole family. Lovely restaurant and bar on site. The shop is well stocked and you can pretty much buy whatever you need there. We enjoyed the views from our upstairs unit, and saw Dolphins and Whales everyday.

Beautifully clean and well maintained accommodation. Gorgeous food and the location is simply breathtaking! Toes on the beach. Also chalets are affordable and there are many different options to save costs. I go every year over my birthday.

Lovely secluded place for a nice vacation break away. Situated on the beach and all rooms facing the sea. Definitely one of the best places in the area. Restaurant and bar is extremely expensive, but hence the reason for self service accommodation

The food I had at Happy Wanderers Resort is one of the most exquisite tasting food. I’ve had ( number 1 for sure is the Resu burger ) the staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially Teressa, Ndie and Alex. The best service we could ask for. Our stay was absolutely wonderful and we can’t wait to go back.

My sisters Norma and Marion and I stayed in the aprtments from11 to 18 July. The flat was not fancy, but had everything we needed, and was clean and tidy. Our cleaning lady Anne was very friendly. We were there during the school holidays, and activities were oraganised for the youth. The person in charge was Toby, he is very good with the children, and also very helpful and friendly. He is anssest to Happy Wanderers. I will go there again. Eileen Olivier

Not allowed to take towels in. So the resort only want you to use the restaurant but not the beach

We have camped twice now at Happy Wanderers in the April school holidays. This place is a treasure and we simply love it. All the facilities are extremely well maintained. The staff are always friendly and always willing to help. Truly a place to make wonderful memories. See you again.

I just love this place, it's serene, quiet, clean and just an all around friendly place to spend either on a day visit or even on a weekend getaway. You don't have to worry about throngs of bodies to slalom your way past to get to a nice quiet spot on the very wide swathe of beach sand. Camping weekend coming up. Will update on the facilities thereafter.

Used to go there when I was younger. Had dinner there the other night which was very nice. Had a good vibe and fact it is right on the beach is awesome. The road into the place in not great though, but it's nice and secluded and you therefore don't have the unwanted strangers party outside.

Been going there since 1966. Great accommodation and beach. Very clean and organized. Highly recommended.

The beach is private and quiet. Additionally, you can play day and night on the beach. Lastly, the whales put on a show visible from the shore.

I wanted to book an 8 seater in Decemeber for a week and a lady by the name of Chanelle answered the phone and was very unprofessional and very sarcastic and didnt sound like she was in the mood to be of any assistance, I really hope the experience of staying there is not as unpleasant as what I experience over the phone.

We stayed at Happy Wanderers for the weekend. I was very disappointed. The chalet was very dirty. There were spiderwebs and spiders in our bathroom. The cleaning staff seemed to feel like they were doing us a favor by just sweeping and mopping the floors. Due to a supposed "covid-policy" none of our dishes were done and no beds were made. This was not told to us prior to booking. No bath towls supplied. No dishwashing liquid or other supplies are given. I will not be bothered to go to happy wanders again

I’m 26 and living in Canada now. When I was a small boy my grandparents would take me here several times over the course of the year. Had some of my fondest memories growing up and visiting here. Just goes to show, even after all these years, even from another country, I’m still thinking of this gem of a place. Place was great back then and I’m sure it’s still great to this day.
