S E H R T E U E R ! In Ruhebereich schreiende Kinder. ☝️

Many massage jets in the pools weren't working and the saunas lack details other than the name and temperature. The pools were all very nice and clean. The restaurant has a pretty poor system that makes it slow and chaotic, two of our meals were taken by others. The beer on tap at the sauna bistro was bad (I often drink Ottakringer Helles but this was undrinkable, two other guests thought so too) and when I brought it back I was told that it's fine, no solutions. This Therme has so much potential to be top-tier but unfortunately feels like it's aiming for mediocre.

Have been visiting for many years but our last visit was big disappointment and our last visit there. Crazy prices also in restaurant. The employee in restaurant and around pools very unfriendly. Much more colder water, we had to go to shower to warm up. The walking around the pools hurts your feet as the concrete is old and sharp.

Neat, clean and organized. On days when it is not crowded, it is truly relaxing. Many facilities are offered for children, although it would not be bad to offer some other facilities such as a salt room or ultra red lamps, etc. for all visitors, considering that the prices are quite high.

Kinderbereich ganz toll.

Very disappointed in this experience. The marketing on site and on social media do not show that this place is basically a leisure centre filled with families. Based on what I saw online I was expecting a relaxing experience, but that was very hard to do when there were so many kids. The restaurant is basically a small cafeteria and I’m almost certain the burger and french fries were cooked from frozen. Definitely a far cry from the food you see on the website. I only found out later that there is a ticket available for a private, adults only area, BUT the website does not make it look like I would need that option to enjoy a chill day. If you’re looking for a family-friendly outing then this is your place. If you want a quite and relaxing place, then this is not it. I highly recommend the company update their website to show more photos with kids in it so guests know what to expect. It would also be great if the quiet option (which is in a secluded area that includes the nicer restaurant you see photos of on site) were more prominent on site so potential guests have a better idea of what could await them on a not-so-quiet day.

We went there on Wednesday around 3pm and there were no queues (either with a ticket nor without one). It could have been down to the weather as it was a bit rainy day. Inside all loungers were occupied but we didn't mind it. There were lots of different pools with massage jets. We visited nude sauna which was additional €10.50 per person. Place is cashless and you pay during the check out (for drinks, sauna etc.). There were lots of families with young kids. Overall great experience and would come back there again. I liked the location of this place as it's just beside the U1 and ablility to self check out.

Saunabereich soweit in Ordnung. So… & nun zum absoluten No-Go.

Lots of pools and a fantastic sauna sector but unfortunately a lot of the facilities weren’t working. In the main pool sections most of the jets and waterfalls weren’t working, so although we went on a non-busy day a lot of them were still occupied. The large water slides weren’t in service due to repair works. The extra 12 EUR sauna access is definitely worth it - the dry saunas were amazing. I also think the changing cabins are great. Overall I would recommend the 3 hour ticket, I don’t think you could spend much longer there.

Almost didn’t go after reading bad reviews provided by some customers. Pricing was reasonable, about $54 for 2 adults with access to saunas included. Although signage is not in English I had no problems exploring the very large facility and finding everything without assistance. Staff was very helpful when needed. We enjoyed it so much we went again back a few days later. Take your own towels, one to sit on and one to dry with. Take bottled water too. There are fountains but not many. Finally, some high temp saunas have indicating lights by the door. Don’t enter when the red light is on. These guys take their saunas seriously. Plan on staying at least two hours to enjoy everything.

It was really wonderful and perfect, it was very clean and complete. All the facilities for a day full of relaxation and swimming and fun are available in addition to many outdoor and indoor pools, sauna, spa, massage to escape the summer heat and enjoy the coolness of the air while swimming in the open air.

This was our first time visiting. Overall, this is a new and large therme with many heated pools and saunas. I especially appreciate the adult only grotto, it is quite peaceful and nice. There are a few things that can ensure you will have a good time. 1) in my opinion, the general admission ticket (30eur) will be underwhelming for most people. This is a very popular therme, so even during the week it will be at least 60% full. If you are okay with crowds and general noise, then the general admission will be ok. If you want a full chill day, I would reccomend the one day holiday deal for 94eur. 2) bring your own slippers 3) after 2 pm, it does get very humid and hot in the changing rooms. It was a bit uncomfortable, and if you don't deal with hot humidity well, like myself, it can be quite unpleasant. 4) there is minimal signage in English and some staff does not speak English. Just be mindful of that. Some basic German phrases would be useful to know.

We took the after work ticket that includes either the beg with a bathrobe and a towel or 5 euro discount at the restaurant. We chose the beg. The warm pool were very nice. It's also very easy to arrive by metro. We particularly enjoyed the outside part of the pool in which we could see the snow falling and still feeling warm and nice. There is also an active pool in which you can swim, and there is also kids pool with slides which was very fun. Overall good experience, but make sure that if you want to take a real shower you should bring a real shampoo and conditioner because with the beg you only get shampoo bar which I didn't like very much. Was a nice attraction in the cold weather.

I can’t believe I never heard of Therme Wien before! It’s a great way to spend a winter day in Vienna when it’s too cold to sit at an outdoor cafe. So easy to get to on the U1, and I took the advice from other reviews to book in advance. May be difficult for non German speakers, but take your smart phone and use Google translate- it’s so with it. For visitors to Vienna, the 79 Euro day pass includes entrance fee. a 25 min massage, towel rental, locker rental and 10 Euro credit in the restaurant. You have to bring flip flops. Wanted to use the Sauna, but it was an up charge. We were there from 11-2 and had a wonderful time trying different pools. I love being in an outdoor thermal pool when it’s 30 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Some areas were for adults only, which was nice as there were a lot of kids. Id go back in a heartbeat and would try the sauna next time.

It's best to visit on a weekday. A good all-day weekend rate is available in the summer! But the food in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. The potatoes are very overcooked and consist of nothing but butter. But there are many dishes for all tastes, from baby food in jars to vegan meals;)

We had a little problem at the buffet where all the drinks were charged only to one of us not per drink per person although we bought voucher ticket in advance. After the watch being charged by all the drinks' fees they could not be able to handle the situation:(( But anyway all the spa was fun and we had a great time there:)

We visited in April when it was cold and rainy. We had a good relaxing time. Perhaps both the water and the temperature could have been a little bit warmer - hence the missing star. The facilities were clean. We really enjoyed the traditional Austrian food at the restaurant, it was delicious. It was all cashless which was convenient (you pay at the exit).

Therme Wien is a tranquil oasis in Vienna, offering a blissful escape with its soothing thermal pools and rejuvenating sauna world. I recommend bringing some towels from home and a Robe because outside sometimes is cold. The family-friendly facilities and wellness services make it a perfect destination for relaxation. A must-visit for an unforgettable spa experience in the heart of the city!

Paikkaan on helppo mennä. Ja tällä ei kuulunut venäjää yhtään.

What a phenomenal place to visit. Went with a friend and decided to pay for the one day holiday experience. It was 100% worth it. When we added up the engremy to the pools, the saunas, towel hire, money off vouchers and the money we would have spent getting things like water and having reclining loungers that were 10x softer and more comfortable than the others we actually saved money! It cost us €78 each and so I guess it's only worth it if you want to stay most of the day. Access to the pools is only like €30 but as a tourist, I didn't have my own towels etc. The sauna etiquette was difficult to get our heads around. So for anyone new to the centre, the saunas are strictly nude areas. You must take a towel with you as you must sit on the towel in the sauna rooms. Towels are not necessary in the steam rooms so you can hang them on the hook outside the rooms. I would highly recommend that you brave the nudity and experience the saunas, steam rooms and aroma rooms. The doors are completely see through and staff check regularly just in case you are worried about people getting "too friendly" - my experience was much better with strangers in there as they helped us understand when to come in, when to leave and whether taking a hot shower or cold shower was better after each type of room. Very helpful and kind people are there and it's not over crowded as people have to pay to get in (€8 if you don't have the day holiday package)! If I lived in Vienna, I'd be making trips very regularly! Their pools are all heated to various temperatures and some have jets aimed at specific muscles so was very relaxing! I can't rate higher than 5stars but if I could, I would!!

The value for money at this amazing thermal bath is unbelievable. Although, it can get pretty busy, the multiple pools, eating options, massage choices, fitness programs, and more make this place a total must go.

We visited Vienna over New Years and our favorite activity was going to Therme Wien! Our two kids (10,13) and I had an absolute blast on the indoor and outdoor slides. There are a ton of pools that were all nice and warm even when we went outside after sunset. I didn’t notice a difference in the temps between pools, but they were all very comfortable. The place was very busy on New Year’s Day, but we were able to find areas to be away from the large groups. Outside was probably our favorite as the sun was out during the day and it wasn’t as loud out there. I definitely recommend getting a cabin for changing and storing your personal items. We also visited the restaurant on site and it was very good. A bit pricey, but very good quality food. I had a beef goulash which was excellent. We went early (10am) and that was definitely the best time to go. 9am would have been even better. We didn’t know what to expect so I figured we would be there for a few hours, but we needed up spending all day there (definitely get an all day pass). We left around 5pm and there were still long lines of people coming in. It stayed open till 10pm that night. The facilities were clean and everyone was pleasant. The person who helped us check in at the front didn’t speak English very well, but we were able to complete the check in without much trouble. If we go back to Vienna, Therme Wein will definitely be on our activities list! Check it out! You’ll have a great time!

Thermenbereich - sauber.
