It’s an awesome experience. The scale of it. The views from the top. Best thing in Rio by far.

Nice place to stop for lunch or a snack break. It’s a stop along the van and train but it’s also only a 600 meter hike off the main trail to Christ the redeemer. We stopped by here on our way down and all agreed it was a nice break from the trail and larger crowds.

Definitely worth the trip. I recommend using a tour company. We used Passeio Rio and they were fantastic. We got 2 main attractions including christ the redeemer and a free all you can eat lunch. I do recommend taking water to christ the redeemer as there is only 1 food place when you get there and its crazy busy and expensive

Obviusly is a must if you visit Rio de janeiro. The views of the city are amazing from the top, in my opinion better than the sugarloaf mountain. You can arrive by: -Public transport metro +bus (you will need to walk the last part) -Tourist train. -Officila van Paineiras Corcovado - Walking or by bike on the road or in a Hike

Overly crowded by social media influencers. Pack your patience if you want a photo, or get a picture from the back.

If you like some adventure, you're sportive, you like to hike and do you want to experience some Brazilian nature... Hike all the way up! The park is open at 8 am, when it's not too hot yet, but expect some crowd when you're on top. Christ The Redeemer remains a very popular tourist destination to check ✔️ when you're in Rio, and many will do...

Definitely place to visit in Rio. Get an Uber or taxi, and make sure to ask to be taken to the shuttle area on top. Otherwise, you have a chance to be dropped off at the bottom of the hill. The rest is very smooth. Do not worry if sky has some clouds and you can't see the statue from the city. It is a great view from the top and cloud help to keep it cooler. Nice café on the top with drinks and coffee. If you are hungry, there are plenty of choices.

Wonderful viewpoint, statue is very impressive! You should go in the morning though so you're not looking into the sun!!

yeah, it's among the 7 new wnders, looks huge, but not that impressed. even more cause the day was foggy, and windy, but definitely if you're 1st time in Rio, should go and see this attraction. the ride there lasts around 1hr, and the road is curvy, and pretty bad, with one station and bus switch. I bought excursion on Largo do Marchado square, paid 112R$, and if you're in this part of Rio, I recomend them.

Good thing we arrived relatively early (9am) because the place was massive but busy even at 9am. After about 30 minutes it quickly became too crowded. Definitely a site to see, crossing off 1 of the 7 modern wonders of the world.

Amazing view and so iconic. Visit in the AM for better pictures.

Marvel of a Statue. Super busy. Avoid the scammers trying to sell you a van or whatever else.

It was beautiful up there; pay the extra for the van ride up the mountain. The train is very slow on a busy day; a two hour wait both ways.

Great combo experience! If you are visiting Rio, you definitely must go see the Crist statue. Cristo Redentor monument is beautiful large scale Art Deco monument placed in a great 360 belvedere view point, and is also located inside Tijuca National Park. Don't forget to bring your camera, and be aware that drones and tripods might not allowed in the visit. See you!

Wonderful view. Best option to avoid the crowd is to get there early. You can take the shuttle service that departs from Copacabana beach and enjoy the full ride up to the top.

Beautiful place to walk/run or ride a bike by the Christ. Great views of the city and the Christ. It also contains a natural shower. Go ready with some swim suit as it feels amazing to be in that shower.

Two ways to get up to the top, by mini bus or tram, when you get out your taxi there are girls who will tell you cablecars every 2 hours or broken so as to get you on minibus, either way well priced scenery is quite jaw dropping. Once you get to the limit of transport there a few steep fights of stairs to the landing, there are lifts with esculators but there mobbed. Ive bad knees but managed ok. Once at the top the views are simply outstanding, church service on a sunday uf your that way inclined. Very very busy. Superb and well worth the effort.Again watch the heat, wear a hat especially if with kids

This is a stunning closed for traffic road that meanders through the heart of the tropical rainforest of the Tijuca national park, offering a glimpse into the lush ecosystem and its many avian inhabitants. If you're lucky, you may also spot some playful monkeys swinging from the branches above. Moreover, the panoramic view from the road's vantage point, with the city and ocean sprawling below, is nothing short of awe-inspiring.

What else can you say abiut christo... Impressive when you see from below and equally impressive when beside it... Can get very crowded at weekends especially so get in early. I a must visit but as with all place on top of mountains weather dictates how much you can see.... Enjoy

Must go. Excellent spiritual site and with outstanding views. Avoid the gifts though....massively overpriced!

An amazing sight to see. Well worth the money and queues to see it. There are lots of people wanting to take photos. Views of the coastline is beautiful.

Amazing views! Not very baby friendly but it’s ok. During summer make sure that you come past midday when the sun shines at the front of the Christ (better photos)

This is a huge tourist attraction. People from all over come to visit Corcovado. With that being said, you also have language barriers and people who yet again don't know the meaning of personal space. They try to streamline the service and help by sending groups up at a time, however people will be people and try to take advantage. The park itself is beautiful and has fantastic views. I hope if you visit you are able to have a clear view of the statue and sugarloaf mountain across the way. Try to visit on the weekday or go with a tour that can get you ahead of usual visiting times if possible.

Very crowded but not surprised. Amazing view if no clouds so plan your visit wise

Great experience, even though we went in a cloudy, rainy day. No need to purchase tickets in advance, so better check if weather is sunny and clear skies before buying

An experience unlike any other... make sure to go when they first open on a weekday to avoid the crowds.

We took a car tour up to see more view points. We thought it was worth it. To enter the site, make sure you bring ID and proof of vaccination. Also, check the weather forecast so you don't end up in the clouds (like we did).

Pretty cool and obligatory stop. Most people in my party seemed underwhelmed. I personally loved the two brothers mountain hike and the sugar loaves more.

It was a surreal experience with the cloud cover! We paid R$ 70 at the entrance and was taken up to the statue in a van. They provide transportation to and from the Copacabana beach as well. It's easier to use that instead of Uber.

If it's your first time in Rio De Janeiro then this place is a must! This attraction can get quite busy and would always recommend booking through a tour group. Parts of it feels like a Disney/Universal Studios where staff will place you in various backgrounds resembling Christ the Redeemer and sell you the Polaroid at the end of the tour
