Catching the ferry to Taronga Zoo Wharf, wow another beautiful place with Nice walking trails with Plenty off different vantage points with outstanding views of the city, the opera house and the Harbour Bridge. Not to mention Taronga Zoo itself is right there, great spot for photographing the city.

Good regular ferry service here from Circular Quay, & not just the stop off for Taronga Zoo, but also Sydney Harbour National Park walking trails that hug the water around to Bradleys Head, Taylors Bay, Georges Head, Middle Head, Chowder Bay, Balmoral Beach, & further. Part of The Bondi to Manly Walk. Sydney Harbour National Park is absolutely breathtaking. The walking trails are good & easy for any ability, well signposted, lots of wildlife, beautiful fauna & outstanding harbour views. An absolute must see place.

If you have a prepaid zoo ticket turn left after exiting the wharf to catch the Sky Safari. Otherwise catch a bus for the short trip to the top entrance. The approx 1 km walk to Bradley's Head is also well worth it from here.

A wide variety of animals, a beautiful well protected location with a clear layout. Construction was going on with minimal impact. It's clear all employees love their job and the effort they put in is appreciated. The exit vs the ferry location is a small walk so time your exit well with ferry departures.

Taronga Zoo in Sydney is a must see tourist attraction. They have all sort of animals, reptiles, birds and sea creatures. This place is very close to ferry and easily accesible by bus too. Must go place

Great ride over from Circular Quay, plus a fabulous way to get a ride over to the zoo!

Do the Balmoral to Taronga walk (lots of steps so a bit of a challenge) then get a sunset ferry back to the Circular Quay for spectacular views of the cityscape, opera house and bridge.

Really good place for children away from the city's hustle bustle. Children really enjoy the ferry ride and the shows.

Great Ferry, quick and efficient BUT there’s NO change tables in the toilets which is poor considering the zoo is a family outing.

Exceptional poor services of NSW ferry services during school holidays period. Waited for more than 1.5 hour to get a ride back. Families with babies and kids were the most affected. People lined up for more than 1 km.

Access to Taronga Zoo from Circular Quay. Frequent and efficient ferry services. Timings and schedules provided and displayed. Usage of Opal card for convenience. Beautiful views of the city.
