Carpenter Rock Trail Antigua
Hiking area
ππ We tried walking down the beach to the pillars of Hercules but the tide was much too high. We took this trail instead and it was so worth it. The views from up high are gorgeous and you can see the pillars as per my pic. If itβs not too sunny then itβs an easy trail uphill. Path is not marked but ea...

Rendezvous Bay Beach
Tourist attraction
ππ Hiked from Spring Hill riding stables, not terribly hard just steep hills and lots of sun exposure. The beach is breathtaking, water is crystal clear and the sand is soft. The second time we hiked it there was a bit of seaweed on the shore but it didnβt smell.

Loose Cannon Beach Bar
Bar & grill
ππ Really lovely place. We went for lunch twice during our week staying round the corner in Nelson's Dockyard.
There are tables right on the beach, the beer is cold and the cocktails are delicious. Very friendly service and a nice relaxed vibe.
They'd just started doing food this week. Everything we...

The Blockhouse
Historical place
ππ Since we came during a week day, technically, we were the only ones there. I do not recommend buying the tickets in advance, but it is always a good idea just to be safe, and that's just with everything. The views of this place were breathtaking and all the history, too. I always find amazing struct...

Antigua's Donkey Sanctuary Humane Society
Animal hospital
π Our 10 year old believes donkeys are his spirit animal. When he saw the signs for the Donkey Sanctuary he got super excited. We visited mid-way through our weekβs vacation. He wasnβt disappointed. It is a simple rescue, nothing fancy, but Carol was warm and welcoming. Told us the stories of how the...

Greencastle Hill National Park
National park
ππ The hike was well worth the spectacular scenic views. Green castle Hill is one of the more famous hills in Antigua, since it hosts the even more renown Megaliths. My lack of local knowledge in the form of a tour guide or having any familiarity with the area caused me not to take the "Beaten Path"....

π Morris Bay is the Picturesque Bay in Old Road Village on the Southern Regions of Antigua opposite of the road from the Old Road Primary School and within close proximity with The Curtain Bluff Resort and Spa. This is one of Antigua's better Beaches but not in the top 10.

Betty's Hope Historic Sugar Plantation
Tourist attraction
ππ Opens at 9:00. Recommend you read up on the Codringtons beforehand for a richer experience. If you have an interest in the history of Antigua a must visit. The slave dwelling is particularly disturbing, when juxtaposed with Dodington Park, ancestral home of the previous owners of Bettyβs Hope. I do...
