👍👍 An enjoyable short walk up to the falls. Less than an hour at a very leisurely pace, depending on where parked. Not too steep and some nice views of the city from the bridge at the top. Dogs allowed on leash, and there’s plenty of BBQ facilities, benches and toilets not too far from the car park.

👍 Extensive picnic area that follows East Ithaca Creek from Mt Coot Tha Drive into the base of Mt Coot Tha. Parking available, picnic areas and shelters, water and toilets. Plenty of shady treas and some grass. Short walk to the falls location.

👍👍 Small man made island with BBQ and lots of trees around. This place marks the begining of Southbank parklands on one side and is quite amazing. Good place for families to spend quality time. Lots of cafes and resturants nearby.

👍 Open fields, shady areas, small playground, some covered/sheltered gazebos. Good park for a picnic (I mean, it’s in the name!). The car park has plenty of space. There are 6 swings, 1 of them appropriate for toddlers. Not so nice public toilet, and some older BBQ areas.
