Best places: Picnic grounds in Carindale, Australia

👍 Open fields, shady areas, small playground, some covered/sheltered gazebos. Good park for a picnic (I mean, it’s in the name!). The car park has plenty of space. There are 6 swings, 1 of them appropriate for toddlers. Not so nice public toilet, and some older BBQ areas.

😐 Edit. Minus 2 stars for unreliable opening hours. Sucks when you find a nice place go out of your way to go again only to find they're not open despite advertised hours ☹ Really nice little coffee spot in a great location behind Mowbray Park. Iced Mocha was delicious and they've got some great idea...

👍👍 Small man made island with BBQ and lots of trees around. This place marks the begining of Southbank parklands on one side and is quite amazing. Good place for families to spend quality time. Lots of cafes and resturants nearby.

👍👍 Great toddler 1-3 year old play equipment. Good shade and bbq facilities. Also good partial fence near the playground area to keep kids in..
