Best places: Public beaches in Hervey Bay, Australia

👍👍 A stunning beach with very fine sand. Dogs are not allowed on some parts of this beach, and it wasn't too clear regarding other parts. Very clean beach and a few small shallow areas when the tide is out which is great for little ones. A few nesting birds on one side of the beach area too.

😐 I heard about the freedom to go freely swimming without much on and so I carried my hired bike all the way in to see a turbulent surf. Quite dangerous, so I took great care and for a quick skinny dip. Great walk in from McAnally Drive.
