👍👍 I enjoyed the walking track around the mangroves, it is very peaceful and not too many mosquitos surprisingly. Saw a few roos off the track and a sea eagle circling over the beach.

😠 As a local its always nice to visit for the day or even night.
However it is extremely disappointing to see that after more than 12mths after the fires we had here, NPWS cannot open these places up.
They have more than enough time to clear the rds and camp grounds

Great beach for children as the sand is firm, flat and moderately shallow for quite a great distance out into the waves. Please be aware of rips though as they do occur here.
