Staff were welcoming & jovial, checked if the meal was OK & if we were happy with it & interacted with our 4 year old (I appreciate a good maître d'). Large meal, I couldn't finish it! 👍👍 I first went here a few weeks ago on a stopover whilst on a houseboat. At that time I had the "Red wine and braised lamb" from their menu. It was so tasty and a very generous serving as well. And the overall atmosphere wasn't too crowded or loud, kid friendly with a play area and books. Right next to the river....

There is a jetty there to tie up your boat and spend the night if you choose to also. And the night lights from town...
