👍👍 30 min from Launceston is this gorgeous camping area. A council managed campground with shop . Large camp spots line the river with lovely park lands in the middle complete with kids playground, tennis court & cricket pitch. Toilets & firepits shower block under construction.

👍 Be warned, it does get windy. We got a great spot right on the water, and even though we were close to the main road, there wasn't much traffic noise. Close to the boat ramp. Facilities are well maintained. It was very busy between Christmas and New Year, but most campers were very friendly.
