👍👍 Today, I took my 3-year-old child to visit the Universiteitsarchief KU Leuven . The most interesting thing was that we climbed the tower together. The process of climbing the tower was very meaningful. It took 40 minutes in the library and the ticket was 7 euros. The conductor is very patient.

🫤 Huge natural forests near Heverlee. If you're in the area, Good for a visit or cycling. But wouldn't recommend for walking as the landscapes remain the same throughout the forest. And there isn't much variety to explore.

👍 A nice park for toddlers and young children to unwind and play with loads of wooden toys. Not much to do for teeners except for looking at the impressively large airport radars nearby. There are some cycling paths to discover the surroundings.

👍👍 Quiet, fun. There's some games for the kids, always a nice walk in the woods. Some places get very muddy so expect dirty kids after a visit

👍 This church opened after a long period of renovation. This church was partly destroyed by a stray bomb during second world war. Lots of it has been rebuilt. But the beautiful wooden confession chambers survived that is visible today.
