👍👍 Great awesome woods so close to the capital, a bit busy at times but big enough to explore over several days. Paths for walking, running, cycling and horseback riding.

🫤 Huge natural forests near Heverlee. If you're in the area, Good for a visit or cycling. But wouldn't recommend for walking as the landscapes remain the same throughout the forest. And there isn't much variety to explore.

👍👍 A nice and quiet place in the middle of the city. The treegrowth is very dense and the paths are winding. A great place to escape for half an hour.

👍👍 Update on Jan 16, 2021. It was snowing today and I went across the wood from the very south to the very north in the evening. Unexpectedly scary but also romantic views. It would be a surprise whenever you come.
