Best places: Food & Drinks in Castro, Chile

😠 We came by at 6. They said they would open at 6:30. We came back at 7 and knocked several times. No on ever answered.

👍👍 Amazing Chileans- Chilote flavours , specially the seafood. I recommend the “Caldúo” a seafood soup with native potatoes and other veggies.

👍👍 Cozy place with a nice sunset view, everything we ate (sea food) is packed with taste, and the service was quick and very welcoming.

👍👍 Thank you for all the deliciousness! As vegetarian it's not so easy to navigate the local menus but Traversia nailed it with a rich flavoured pumpkin soup and freshly made pasta. Great spot with lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Thank you guys!

👍👍 5 stars. Best pulpo a la parilla ever. They dont have have alcohol permission, however with quality of the food and service, who cares.

👍👍 Food was delicious. Service was also great. There was some confusion with our order but the waitress came to confirm what we asked for to avoid any issues. This restaurant seems to be really well known as it was very busy.

👍 Nice bar and a good selection of different beers. The food is well made and fresh made. A perfect stop up or down hill.

👍👍 Sorprendente rincón peruano en Putemún, al sur de Dalcahue en la Isla de Chiloé. Deliciosos platos, abundantes y muy bien preparados que te dejarán contento. Recomendable el pulpo al olivo que así no he visto ni en Perú. La atención bien amable y una buena carta para deleitarse.

👍👍 Very good empanadas. Great diversity of flavors. It comes out of the typical that they are made of pine or cheese. From Centolla, Cochayuyo, Octopus and many more. Totally recommended. Added to this is the owner, Esteban Forbes, who receives them with great human warmth.

👍👍 Local tradicional de Castro, comida típica chilota. Totalmente recomendable con excelentes desayunos y almuerzos. Venga a visitar este local que es atendido por sus propios dueños.

👍👍 Lovely tea, lemon pie and a fantastic view. Very relaxing for a break from dashing around the sites. It is hard to find good simple breakfast tea with a little milk.
