👍👍 Regardless of the Castle nearby, this Church is worth a visit in it's own right. It has become a place of pilgrimage for many since the Pope donated the beautiful painting of Mary (Lady of Trsat) in 1397.
Some really beautiful murals inside this late gothic church restored with Baroque renovations.

👍 Free to visit but check the opening times first. It's a lovely Baroque Cathedral built around 1646 by the Jesuit order. The sacristy was completed a bit later in 1726. In my view the Franciscan Church/Monastry is more beautiful and has finer stone carved altars.
