👍👍 An amazing place to go for a morning hike. The gatekeeper charges you 10 cd per person (20 in total) to get access but it is totally worth it by enjoying the view of Butre. The fort apparently collapsed not long ago and some people may tell you it is closed, but you can still go.

👍👍 Our tour guide was really cool, playful and funny. Gave us a thorough history of the place and was very patient with us. It's a great historical place to visit.

I think it's a less visited site becos I didn't see any visitor coming there throughout the period I was around but it's worth the time. Our tour guard was also very friendly. However, the place needs a little renovation to make...

👍👍 The guide Joseph Kofi (Friday born like me) was an amazing host. The fort was small but very intimate. It made me sad to hear the history. Great place to see.

👍 The name was altered from ‘the fake mint’ to ‘Metalen Krus” after one of the Dutch boats. It can also be said that the cross as an object was used as a symbol burnt onto the bodies of slaves from the Fort as they were being prepared to be sent to the Castles to be traded off or shipped out. As told...

👍👍 Who is talking about sunset 🌅. You get the best beautiful view of cape coast on top of this amazing lighthouse. Advisable to be there at at 4:30 pm through out to 6pm as sunset runs faster than sunrise . Be cautious of your head when going up as the fort probably was built for dwarfs just kidding b...
