😐 Saint Ignatios Monastery is considered to be one of the must see places in the Lesvos Island, so we dis went to see it. Since it was off-season and the last week of October it was literally empty, the museum was closed since the priest was away but we did get to see the rest of the place. I loved it...

👍👍 No indoor tour of the distillery due to Covid, but the guide still gave an excellent presentation about the history and the making of Ouzo. We also got to taste some at the end.

👍 Entrance only 3 euro. You can see Outside for free. Ruins mostly with nice views. Worth visiting. There are a few interesting spots for photos. Better check opening hours before coming - in general, open 8.30 till 15.30. Tuesdays closed.

👍👍 This is one of the most impressive castles we have been to. It is not as ancient as many, but it truly has a feeling of being old and well undergoing renovation, does not feel phony.

👍👍 I wouldn’t call it a museum but rather a permanent exhibition of the private art collection of Stratis Eleftheriades. Totally worth the €3 entrance fee.
