Best places: Tourist attractions in Chamba, India

This huge, high dam offers sweeping, scenic views, plus a reservoir for water sports.

😐 We visited Tehri Lake Water Sports on 9th June 2023 and had a mixed experience. The water level in the reservoir was quite low, which made us a bit anxious during the boat ride. Additionally, the main area for sports activities was relocated 1.5 km away from the usual spot during the summer season....

👍 Tehri Dam is one of the most iconic structure one could see. The lake is hugeeee so does the Dam. Its just an engineering Marvel.

👍👍 Do visit this place. The aqua blue water of the river and the mountains surrounding it, makes the place look surreal. The place also offers various adventure sports as well. The roads are well maintained. Winter is a good time to be there, the weather is good in winters.

👍👍 Beautiful scenic place with very clean environment. Loads of activities to choose from and guides over there are quite helpful. Its first view while coming to this place is magical. A gigantic lake appears suddenly while coming down to this lake via road.

👍 Such a good construction which joins india together in a wast network. A good initiative by our political parties to make such good tunnel and it saves a round of 58 km. Heavy construction is now not a big deal in non-connecting areas. Security and road side assistance is provided 24 hours.
