😠 Forest has been closed by the authorities 2 years back. There are no approvals or permissions that would work. So save yourself the trip. Trip advisor & other sites need to update their page accordingly to avoid misguiding tourists.

👍👍 Love passing through dense forest then head to Sathyamangalam Forest. Sathyamangalam to Mysore/Kollegal via Bannari and you will have this beautiful view. If you are lucky, could find deer, elephant, wild boar, etc. I always love driving in this route especially the 27 hairpin bends.
