👍 It's a Heaven on Earth. One of the best treking I've ever had. The valley's so beautiful along with the hillocks. It's green everywhere. I experience the coldest wind blowing through.

G H Damant Tomb Monument

👍👍 A memorial to G.H Damant( then political officer of the Naga Hills). Shot dead at khonoma in 1879. The place is currently under the Archaeological Survey of India.
A must visit. Also, the location of the monument provides one of the best viewpoint in khonoma.
