Best places: Tourist attractions in Amlapura, Indonesia

This scenic, former water palace built in 1909 features gardens, large pools & historical photos.

🫤 Probably not worth a stop. Paid 30k entrance. Was given a little pamphlet with some info but without a map it was a little confusing. They were setting up for some event and we were the only tourists that have signed in that day, and none the day before.

👍👍 Nice natural spring with clear water and fish in it. Not a one tourist on our visit, only some locals. We visited with our driver. We were said the locals believed it is the "fertility spring" and pairs that have trouble conceiving are coming to bathe in it. ☺️

👍 The place itself is nice. Not many people. Relaxed atmosphere. You can pay with card without a surcharge. On the down side the price 75k IDR adult, 50k IDR children. A bit pricy my indonesian friends.... Parking 5k IDR
