Best places: Ferry terminals in Mataram, Indonesia

👍👍 Good ferry service! Can not buy tickets online as a foreigner. Best way seems to be buying tickets at Alfamart across the road. From our Grab driver dropping us of at the Alfamart to the ship leaving, was about 15 minutes for us. Obviously we got lucky with departure times and wait lines, but still....

😠 This Island Would have been much nicer, if there wasn’t incredible animal cruelty. These poor horses aren’t taken care of, they are beaten if they don’t run quickly enough and they have to carry heavy load 7 days a week. Pleas don’t support this ugly business and rent a bike or walk instead.

😠 Lot of overpriced speedboats. The actual speedboat ferry goes from new port 500 m north from this location. Most taxi drivers will drop you here, just tell them to drop you at the new port and that you already have a ticket. Buy through easybook or your hotel
