👍👍 The friendliest gym in Carlow! The owners and staff are lovely while the equipment is focused on intermediate to expert lifters. That said, there are also treadmills, ellipticals and an area for boxing. If you're just in town visiting family, it's €5 for one day or €10 for a week.

👍👍 Great trip up along northwards along the Barrow River and Grand Canal from Carlow. Our captain Cliff was very knowledgeable about the river and told us great stories about the history of the Barrow in Carlow.
We saw loads of wildlife and passed through a working lock gate.
Couldn't recommend highly...
