Ireland's 2nd-largest lake made up of 2 basins & a channel with abundant wildlife & rural surrounds.

👍👍 Little hidden gem, lovely place for a picnic and a swim, great place to bring kids too as water is not so deep. Only advice is get there early and don’t park near the junction to the main road, drive further along and there is a great spot to park and relax .
