👍👍 The oldest obelisk in the city, 2 steps from Forcella, behind we see the dome of the Real Tesoro di San Gennaro. It is the Spire of San Gennaro, built in 1636 as an ex voto. This show was built to thank San Gennaro who saved the city of Naples on the occasion of the eruption of Vesuvius in 1631.

🫤 The place it's impressive. However, half of the exposition is in the Louvre or in restoration, but still the price is the same. They don't inform you about this and you find out when you are walking the galleries...dissapointing.
